+1 Reav,
Try the weapons people it really puts things in perspective, I use AR, LR, MD, FG, HMG, SMG, and Flaylock. They are by no means balanced and certainly have their pros/cons but without trying them it is hard to asses what skills they actually require. Want to try an absolutely terrible weapon? Just pick up the breach Flaylock. Want to get outgunned everytime by an AR unless you barrel is straight up their ass? Try the HMG.
Some weapons are general use and others are niche, If you find yourself in a situation where an enemy is using that niche area with the proper weapon, change your engagement, change your weapon, or your tactics. Those roof forgers can get cocky, when they do its very easy to forge them off of that building. |

Well, more inclined too. Especially when you stack the damage mods for it. But yeah. It's pretty much the Plasma Cannon as a side arm. That is as well worded as I can put it. I, for one, have killed quite a few unsuspecting people with it after the nerf.
Catching unsuspecting people with a Flaylock, especially wounded barely hiding behind crates is exactly what the Flaylock was meant for. Then again catching people unawares with a grenade and most weapons will equal success. |

I think the current issue with flaylocks is this;
Forge guns, gain 10% splash radius (std -> adv-> proto) So do - Grenades and mass drivers
Flat locks on the other hand go up 50%. Meaning that the proto is 2x the radius. With skills:
Std Flaylock 0.75m x 1.05 (prof) = 0.7875 Proto Flaylock 1.5m x 1.25 (prof V) = 1.875 .. Wut?
So instead of 121% like all other splash weapons, Flaylock has 238% the radius of std.
Core is good, lower variants gargle bollox. |

As long as one of your squad members is not a shotgun guy I think MDs will still be utilized in FW, if you are hitting your team mates you are doing it wrong. |

It is a very rare day that I die from a cooked grenade, I have definitely died with a grenade in my hand poised to throw though. |
