Splash is the problem? Really?
I could of sworn it was the Plasma Rifle that functions as a fully-automatic sniper rifle. That just might be me though.

Oh and my own MD doesn't discriminate between my HP and the enemy's HP, so if I screw up I end up killing myself a lot. Not to mention how easy it is to teamkill with them in PC, and soon FW. I think they're fine. I'll agree forge guns should get nerfed to hell and back, though, because I've got opinions.
FF in FW is going to cause FGers to be haaateeeed. Not our faults the jackasses step in front of us. It'll serve them right.

Some weapons are general use and others are niche, If you find yourself in a situation where an enemy is using that niche area with the proper weapon, change your engagement, change your weapon, or your tactics. Those roof forgers can get cocky, when they do its very easy to forge them off of that building.
Hey now. That gun is teh lulz. Pair it with Flux Grenade and only a heavy can survive direct hits! Well, more inclined too. Especially when you stack the damage mods for it. But yeah. It's pretty much the Plasma Cannon as a side arm. That is as well worded as I can put it.
I, for one, have killed quite a few unsuspecting people with it after the nerf.

You have never used the Breach Flaylock... have you? I'm 90% sure you haven't, nor know of its specs.

So, no? You don't know about the underwhelming variant of Flaylock that was the least favorite of pretty much everyone that has ever used the Flaylocks (which is understandable, as a few Breach variants of other weapons are ass too)? That it's only teh lulz when paired with the flux because, BY ITS SELF, it cannot fathom to take down shields on top of armor? It's teh lulz because it's so terrible, it REQUIRES the aid of a grenade. (And that rhymed.)

It really was meant for killing the wounded- people just abused the hell out of it so badly that it became a primary and that's when the nerf hammer slammed it into the ground. It's now properly doing as it was intended. Though, you can really mess up people suits with it if you carry a Flux or you use your main.

Oh man, remember when Flux Grenades could kill people? People use throw several Flux and rain down hell with the MD to double check. One of my favorite things that was removed. 
I remember having lightsaber fights on Manus Peak.

It's so insignificant already. It's generally applied when people are, you know, hitting the ground with them from, I don't know, towers? For us ground troopers, we'll see a splash damage once every blue moon, but **** using the gun before pissing and moaning, eh? If people would put the initiative in to USE the damn weapons they complain about, half the crying would stop.
