Here's the thought...scouts are supposed to be good at the mobility aspect of getting around and behind enemy lines, and then also out of combat and then reappear to fight another day.
What if each dropsuit gets a 'resistance' modifier that only applies during sprinting. It would mean that especially when a weaker suit want's to get away from explosive damage especially, the thing to do would be to sprint away from the fight. The lowslot endurance/sprint modules could then effectively become like resistance mods and be contributing to effective HP. The thing is that because they only work during sprinting, then they can't be used during combat. |

That is very wrong. CQC scouts use sprinting to close in on other suits.
Neat idea, but would end up being either OP (scouts able to blindly rush in and shotgun everyone) or useless (too low of resistance to make a difference).
Just make us faster. |

+1 for the warm thoughts :-)
This is a neat concept, but I must agree with Krom. Damage Resistance while sprinting would potentially make CQC Scouts too powerful.
An idea along the same lines ... Adjust aim-assist magnetism to better account for target speed. |

This idea does hold water though. Since scouts have the worst HP scaling out of all the other suits, there's already room for error. The resistance effect doesn't need to be strong enough to survive running head on like an idiot, but it should be enough to sprint strafe or run in a serpentine pattern to escape.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"
