I just visited the DUST 514 lounge on PSHome, since I remembered hearing it was a thing that existed. Given that videos clips exist to introduce the four empires, why on earth aren't they integrated into new character creation? Or are they, and I just missed it... |

They're there actually, though kind of hard to notice at first glance (meaning many won't see). Press triangle in the race selection part.

I had to biomass an alt to get to the new character creation screen, but right you are! I'm glad they're incorporated, but as you say, their presence is pretty subtle. So, I amend my suggestion to: Put the racial movies in the Help->Movie menu. |

I think they should be played by pressing x on the character creation. This makes people noticeably more aware of what the race their aligning themselves with are actually like.
Also, there needs to be more in the movie menu. That one movie all cold and alone.

Yes they should, along with a video of dust and mercs in general and some instruction video's on suits, weapons and fitting.
There is a screen and a couch in our quarters for movies and New Eden News Network.
