The small railgun turrets are the worst turrets in the game they the most inaccurate weapons in dust. So im just wondering why is there only 24 rounds for the small railgun turret and why hasnt CCP done anything to fix these turrets. They are next to impossible to use on a dropship they dont do any damage to vechicles or installations but in the description are labeled as effective against vechiles and installations. The sights for the small railgun turret are off why doesnt it have the same sights as the large railgun it just has a stupid dot ive gotten kills with it on infantry at 280m but these kills are extremely rare. The ammunition for small railrun turrets should remain unlimited until CCP finds a way to fix them. That one kill I manage to get takes an entire round of skirmish to get. |

This turret is only useful on a Lav and you are left extremely vulanerable when using it because a sniper can easily take you out though your shots are pretty much invisible. If someone were to just pull up the map they can easily find you anc call you out to a scout and boom thale's or charged sniper to the head you're dead. |

Annnnnnnnnd... Execute! By the looks of things in 1.7 the max ammo in the Small Railgun turret will be 30 max damage to vechiles may be a bit much they do 108% on damage on infantry which i do like its just if you put it on a any vehicle other than a Lav it sucks ive tried using it as an anti air turret on a tank it works nicely it gets pesky dropships to back off but if you need to kill infantry at close range its useless. |

I'm mainly talking about the current stats atm though and how useless theres turrets are atm iirc the current blast radius for these turret is 0.65m. Now does the new stats suggest they've updated it to 0.85m or is it 85m which would be insane? Even if brought to .85 meters it sucks it should be the same blast radius as missile turrets. A fart has a larger blast radius than a small railgun turret. |

Something needs to be done about these turrets at least give them a larger blast radius and better sights instead of a single dot on screen. |

This is just not true the problem is that the SRT is very very inaccurate even if you put the sights directly on a target even if the target is as pertified as a statue you will miss. You need to aim above the target and try to guess where the round will drop not having any sights to aid you makes this extremely difficult. The Compressed variant is the only OHK SRT but it doesnt have the 300m kill range its around 250m. Well at least 250m i dont recall killing anyone with it at 300m but ill try today to verify this. Close range though this thing is absolute crap you have to compensate for every angle the vehicle is at because any variation in degrees throws your shot off. You would think that in the future there would be some gyroscopic stablizers like the ones used in filming. You have to be very very skilled and until I see a QQ thread about SRT being OP im going to assume that no player like that exists. |
