Just a small suggestion here:
Once the victory conditions for a match have been met, display a banner near the top of the screen announcing this, but otherwise let the match continue.
At this point, while the MCC procedes to explode violently in the background, the match goes into mop-up/extraction mode. The losing team stops spawning even if they have clones left, and the survivors still on the ground need to manually recall their vehicles and return any gear they want to keep to a nearby supply depot.
The winners can choose to manually extract immediately, or hunt down the enemy to ensure maximum destruction of assets belonging to the enemy. |

That would certainly start to shift the game perception of DUST being a pure lobby shooter if you allowed players to experience a greater degree of battle persistence. It might be interesting to also see an extraction pod deployed from the warbarge which collects your biomass and transfers your consciousness.

My question is what ultimately ends the match? If you must wipe out survivors what happens when there is one just hiding in his red line that you cannot reach? Are the losers retreating, if so where are they retreating?
What's the point for the losers? Why should they fight on and not just immediately suicide, I know I'd rather just move on to the next match rather than wait 5 mins just to be humiliated?

The match is over as soon as the MCC dies, and everyone is free to quit at any time afterwards without affecting the match outcome.
The difference is that nothing is automatically extracted for the losers: If they don't manually recall their vehicles, then those vehicles are left behind. If they can't make it to a supply depot (or their red-line, I guess?), then all that shiny proto-gear they're wearing is left behind as well.
As a loser, you are absolutely welcome to immediately suicide and quit the match, and that will not have any impact on your WP, SP gain or ISK payouts. The only thing that happens is that you lose the gear you had with you at the time (as if you had died).
The winners likewise can just choose to leave the match immediately (and their stuff WILL get automatically extracted), or they can choose to hang around and harvest some tasty protobear tears. |

I still think it's important to have some type of final extraction window. If a player was able to stay in a map indefinitely, that would put a lot of unnecessary strain on the server as multiple map instances are running concurrently. The most I would let a match run is between 5 to 10 minutes. This time can be used for mopping up stragglers and planning salvage drones on the wreckage of the enemy MCC.

no more respawns for the teams that loses their mcc?
oh and redzones disappear after this.
and to make it a little easier so hiding will be impossible to shorten the matches.
every1 gets a nice red arrow above their head.
either that or a time limit. although the mcc it self pretty much counts as a time limit in some ways. |

Maybe you want to settle a score - finish off that HAV that was limping away, or maybe you want to get your expensive suit off the field intact. |

This would be awesome!!!!
......If I'm on the losing team I often spawn in the mcc right before it explodes and then jump out when I think it's going to explode so I can see my merc mid flight

sounds great at long as there's a 5-10min limit afterwards and each teams redline is removed.
