So it's nice to see a modified attempt to return the Type II / B Class / vk.1.....
But I'm sorry to say that it may be an undershot. I understand you gotta prevent the OP stuff but seriously shoot for the moon when you're talking about light frames.
-HP/Speed adjustment seems fine, it may differ from the actual Type II but the premise is the same. - 2 EQ at Std. 3 at ADV & PRO seems a little off. 3 at PRO only and you can build perhaps better base stats
-Sidearms only- I can't say it's a bad idea but it won't work at today's progress. There simply aren't enough Sidearms to make it appealing, just as the heavy doesn't appeal to many because of lack of heavy weapons. Strictly speaking the SMG would seem to be a must on that suit, just to keep up a level versatility (ie Mini-AR). I'd say wait until more Mini-Weapons appear; the SMG is like a Mini AR but the Pistols don't function very well as Mini-Light Weapons. If we had a 40 meter Sidearm, a shotgunnesque sidearm, and the Magsec SMG then I would say go for it, but the effective range and options seem a little too limited to begin limiting suits to sidearms.
-EQ Bonus - Yes but on a side note, you are strictly thinking medic-scouts. They were a popular method of running Type II but so were RE's + Nanohive. In essence this suit is not going to be used purely for medical, it's a Type II after all. So keep that in mind when talking about EQ bonus. It would be better to have cost reductions as a bonus instead, so it would cohesively work with RE's, Scanners, and Uplinks (you can't have a 1/5 of an extra spawn). This route would lead to a more dynamic Module rig since Module Options are more numerous than EQ Options.
-Extra CPU/PG - Again same premise as the Type II so yes.
OK Now if I was to redesign the Type II, as you have obviously done so, here are some differences: + 180 Melee Damage, yes 180 + Stamina Buff, 220 innate + Stamina Regen Nerf, 18.5 /s + Shield Regen Nerf, 36 hp/s + Scan Precision Buff, 37.5 Innate
Now I bet you are thinking "WTF mate" but this really would be the "Heavy of Light Frames". It has innate Tanking rather than regeneration, which opposes what the normal scout has going for it. Of course when compared to medium/heavy frames it still reflects a light frame. This suit takes the melee bonus to the fuckin summit since it only has a single weapon. The suit becomes more about Equipment that way but picking up slack at the same time and an overall more fun suit [ Long Live Kung Fu Type Two! ] So this suit can probably run the same distance as a scout when both use stamina to depletion, it just does it slower. It has more HP but less innate regen ability. The precision buff is the wildcard. It opens up the possibility of a "scout hunter". It's a big precision gap but that's because the Scouts have a major per-level Profile advantage. Basically a scout wouldn't be able to sneak up on a Type II within it's passive, making things a little spicier for the light frames.
OK I'm done
-Bojo (n)
Bone Jockey will become a widely popular insult around 2014, then be shortened to "BoJo" in 2015.
