And its a game we're very much looking foreward to, we play each other all the time in EU ambush, and many of us have been in the same clan(s) before and know each othe pretty well by now. Besides, we all love Zaria...
A common oppinion for most of us, indeed just about every player in Dust I respect, we are all really sick and tired of the constant nade spam that gradually has become the norm in Dust. I have indeed thrown my share of nades, we still use it against each other all the time, but I bet many of us find the deaths cheap, and the kills less rewarding. Nades are OP and thats that.
Then it occures to me, we have two teams with seasoned players that more or less know each other well. Lets do something here and show the rest of the community how a de-nade-spammed Dust looks like. I can record and I bet more people can too. And honestly, it would be a blast to play against such great players in an actual tourney, with a removed mechanic resulting in a drastically changed combat environment.
- I hereby challenge team Power Rangers to do this battle against us totally nade free. Well AV nades are ok. Lets play Dust with gungame and tactics, not the usual explosive spam, just this once...
I find it interesting about your gripe about made spamming, . . . werenGÇÖt you one of the numbnutts that began this whole fiasco? Funny if you still use them, then why the hypocritical chatter?
As for the challenge, I would be completely ALL about a match that was devoid of grenades. The funny thing is, it because a conscious decision, which the amount of energy that a person will devise that it (i.e., the act of not using grenades) will take, they will chose the path of the least resistance, throw nades and be done with it. Call it love and war.
But if you could throw a match, say in contracts ( OH SHITE! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?!?!?) and even have a modest entry fee (50,000 -200,000 ISK for the space rental, retail at the event, ya you know ... ). Say willing to run at least full advanced, potentially at least a protosuite, not necessarily complex all the way ( say avg cost 35,000-115,000 per suit cost) put the money derived from salvage, the money from entry fees, break it up amongst the top 5, . . . well that colds be some go, wholesome fun. |
