The problem with rooftop FG is not that they have good range, damage, or splash, it's that we can't GET THEM DOWN with anything but an ob ( and before some dumb **** says it: killing the FGer and getting them down are two completely different things)
I'm hoping the artillery cannon is a counter for this, unless it works like a railgun which I really hope is not the case, and allows us a solid counter for this tactic.

If we had a slow firing (I'm talking [5.00 ROF] turret that hit with 1500 splash and 2000 direct in an 10m radius that could be adjusted to hit any horizontal surface without a roof, then forgers would not be a problem.

As I former FGer I can honestly say that the splash damage is not as dangerous as many (Cough midframes Cough) make it out to be many forge kills come from direct impact so honestly this 'nerf' didn't change much.
