no thats not the future of dust, the turrets in the map are unchanged, meaning you can take tanks out a lot easier with them then you can now. that and, only one tanker will dominate the map in the end or they will fight eachother the entire match. if those two situations fail, then you can go where a tank cant. if anything, the tankers are screwed. |

On a side note, how long have you flied Dropships? I was in a few games with you a bit ago when I was doing scout runs. We, by ourselves until a swarmer came along, was hounding two HAVs. 'Twas entertaining. |

I actually stole that Dropship, good shooting though. I've been flying since I started playing back in May '12
I don't fly too much these days since I'm dirt poor and it's a trap, but I run HAVs when I'm bored and not too poor. I usually just run BPOs if I decide to play infantry, I've kind of been burned out having lost all my vehicle skills to the last respec (very bad experience with logi dropships, too much anxiety)

I actually haven't been in a dropship since 1.2. They either fly away before I get there or they abruptly explode. I'm afraid I don't get much turret practice these days. I always appreciate someone that can fly though. I personally can't fly for crap. Never got the practice to do so. I had an alt brewing for an assault dropship, but the news of what's going to happen topped with how quickly they drop already, I was too discouraged to. Now I'm turning my medic only (that's right, pure medic with no weapon skillings) into a HAVer since I used to do that once upon a time.
So, thank you for not doing a barrel roll into the ground.
*Sobs, remembering the time in 1.2 where he got in that last dropship.* |
