Honestly I wasn't expecting much from 1.6 but I was plesently surprised by the abundence of useful bug fixes and buffs to not mid frames.
Things that stood out to me:
Fixed a bug that caused equipment to slide on the base of the null cannon.:Re fix and you can't convince me otherwise.
Specific improvements made to Nova Knife hit detection.: Scout buff, and a much asked for one.
Specific improvements made to shotgun hit detection.: Another scout buff, wow.
Adjusted the heavy dropsuit hit points: Heavys getting some love, well besides the forgers.
Increased scan radius from 10 meters to 16 meters on Scout and Basic Light Frame suits.: CCP is giving us massages to take away the aches and pains?

I'm pumped that they fixed people getting stuck on your tank.
I hate doing that to people but stopping = death, so it'll be nice to push them to the side for a change.

Meh, it's not really a nerf to the forge. It's not like I kill a ton of people from splash damage anyways, 9 times out of 10 its direct hit or no hit so we've already adapted. |

Heck I liked to jump out in front of friendly, fleeing madrugars and get shoved along with them while I assisted them with my CORE focussed rep tool. Its the only way I could keep up. I also occasionally turned myself into an extra AV nade turret attached to the front of a friendly tank rushing into combat with another tank. Got a message or 2 from firendly tankers about being the difference between life and death for them both ways.
That was just making the best of a bad situation though, overall I'll probably be glad NOT to get stuck on them. |

Yeah. These are fixes to some huge annoyances I have at the moment. I'm happy with the fixes. I just find the buff a little odd. a little bit at a time I guess.

I would not call the hit detection things a buff, it's just a fix.
That would be like saying, we are going to nerf AR's by making every 5th bullet not register as a hit. that would be just breaking something

they still need to add one slot to all light and heavy suits :/
Or else there is only 4 possible slot combinations. Meaning races will HAVE to be off standard. |

It was a welcome and needed series of little buffs to suits, apparently included only because of CPM lobbying/coaching.
My one small regret is that i wanted the heavies to get a resistance buff as opposed to a hp buff. It's kinda like CCP is a bakery that will sell you all the generic white bread you want, but doesn't know how to bake a crusty roll.
Is moar hp the answer to heavies? Seems a tad bland and uninspired to me. |

Well adding raw HP is the simplest answer, everyone understands it and it is very easy to tweak. Adding small arms resistance (or w/e your resistance choice is) would undoubtedly be more complicated.
Plus it may over-complicate an already complicated system in terms of suit stats. Plus it would really add a wrinkle when it comes to any tweaking, do you tweak ehp or resistance to achieve your goal?
I'll take bland and uninspired if it achieves the same goal, especially if it hastens needed improvements to the heavy. |

The primary attraction of resistance for me was that it gainfully leveraged logis and repair hives for heavies. |

It was more than I was expecting. I'm happy with the changes/fixes. Let's hope the tweak to the voice system fixed the chat bug. Also the ScR charge bug drives me crazy; I hope a fix is in the near future.
I wonder how long the turrets will remain underground? That's such a blatant bug that seems ridiculously easy to fix. I wonder why it has persisted so long?
