So this is a decision I made: I decided to review all tutorial corps. Bojo's is obviously next. This is an attempt to help n00bs decide where to go when they begin because honestly the battle academy really doesn't help. Andthe only way this game will grow is by helping people with the learning curve.
DUST UNIVERSITY REVIEW:
Main Advantages:
You WILL get PC experience. They have Meta level 2 training where you can only use meta level 2 or below gear. They also have unlimited training. BOTH of these are good.
Meta Level 2: If you are a n00b and don't have proto but wish to know what is up ahead.
Unlimited: If you are like me who has proto gear but you could never get into a PC because either:
A) your corp was huge and you never got to fill a spot in PC
B) You were like me and in a A-list corp where you were basically useless and felt like a tag along (Shout out to all the players in internal error now in MHPD or Ancient Exile)
Organization = A+
They set up PC quickly. They have multiple PC every week. Shout out the the diplomacy department.
Lectures/Guides:
Honestly nothing new. Most of it can be found in other tutorials. Which is FINE.
Squading/Friends/home:
Since Squad finder many of the students have run in squads. A good place to meet people and "graduate" and start your own corp.
Staff:
TrueXerox = Leader of Spec ops. Cool lecturer. Very laid back. But when someone actually invaded us he was pretty PISSED. Needs to chill with the language. Not because it was cuss words but because it sounded like he wanted to **** the other corp. And I dont mean **** as in own but **** as in sexually assault them.
Thaiceman = captain of spec ops = mature gamer. Good squad leader. One of the few people who aren't roleplaying being a teacher and know heis helping people with a game.
Reevira - Reason why we have so many matches. Must have a hard job in diplomacy. Mad props to her. But I think she carries that stress and comes off as a B*tch some times when organizing PCs. Don't take her personally.
And Reevira = friendly advice. Don;t threaten people with bans/kicks but just warn them. You think you warn them but you come of as threatening. As if you are ROLEPLAYING a UNIversity Dean and not just helping fellow players.
Nadeus = Good player but The Uni is there to help people. I think you have real life problems and you're using your position in the UNI to compensate.
OVERALL
Great place to start off. It is a dictatorship not a democracy but that doesnt mean you can't have fun. SOme people let it go to their heads (Nadeus) but I say ignore it. Just because it is a "univeristy" doesnt make it a REAL educational institution so don;t get smack around by people who are not there to helpbut to RP.

Nah I am going to go to all of them...afterwards I am going to Immortal guides. I am doing this because I am a teacher IRL.
Honestly I love D-Uni. If they were not neutral I would have stayed but eventually I wanna be involved in wars. And also I never personally had a problem with any of them including Nadeus. I am just saying what I saw.

Money is a big problem for the LC bc we have 8% of the population that DU does. If any big alliances could help us with this, it'd be really nice.
