I thought it was for having an account inactive for at least 60 days .....rewarding people for being unloyal for a full 2 months..

I received 100x Quafe and Black Eagle scout suits today, which is coincidentally my 50th consecutive day of logging on.
I think this one is a loyalty reward.

Also got it, 39 days consecutive so thats not the case.
I did log onto an alt character that may or may not have been inactive for 2 months.
Edit: Seems I was right, the rewards for last event were given today.

Why would I get 100 copies of an awesome dropsuit for being loyal, supporting CCP and spending money on a broken game that has been panned in the press continually?? Makes no sense......
I have been a fan and supporter of CCP, would like them to succeed, and generally give them a break on a lot of things as they learn how to build a proper FPS with MMO/RPG qualities....
But the disloyalty reward.... there is no forgiving this kind of kick in the nuts. |

There is NO loyalty reward, you get them with alts on the same PSN logging in, got 200 of each today. Jelly? BTW they are for sale when market opens.

Wait so why are these suits of any value anyway? Black Eagles are light dropsuits which means 100 free deaths, and if someone sees you walking around in bright pink... that's probably even worse.
I mean, DUST is F2P but I don't see people scrambling over each other to download it.

It looks like we made a mistake with the script as people have deduced where we gave them out to anyone who had a character who hadn't logged in for 60 days as opposed to accounts. However, considering the feedback we'd gotten from the reactivation push, we're not going to remove these suits from anyone who got them in error.
For those who didn't get any, we'll be running some additional events in the near future that will give out these dropsuits as well, so anyone who is interested in getting some, don't fret.

Whoever writes these scripts needs to be replaced. Bad skill point refunds, bad skill cap resets, bad skill cap increases... These downtime scripts run by CCP have basically no quality control whatsoever.

I still don't think that they should have been given out in the first place, not in this quantity, not these suits. The free rare suits for not playing makes me, and everyone else who actually cares about the game, feel unappreciated. How hard would it be to give out new, unique suits? Call it the 'I Quit Dust' Scout gk.0 and make it bright red.
