Its so awesome when i see more than 5 snipers on my team, but not a single sniper rifle kill in the feed. |

I don't redline snipe, but I know for sure that a Charge rifle can hit quite far away. I have an alt with maxed out sniper skills and I noticed a great render improvement back in 1.4 days for snipers.
478m, I think it was my longest kill with the Charge. That was in 1.4, I haven't played with that character since then.
I guess it's time to take the dust out of it and troll some people.

all snipers have long range the same if I remember right
and to answer the question there is no secret to red line sniping because 90% of the people who do it barely get over 10 kills if that when I snipe I choose a location thats either high up or watching a location and I'll get more than them but then again I do have a tendency to kill the red line snipers so I'm sure thats not helping
EDIT: longest kill I have gotten so far with the charge is 576 meters |

I only actually snipe when I'm testing sniping builds, or if an objective is dominated, and I need to kill the guys invading if I die trying to defend it. |

And to answer the OP: Very carefully... I would't know though, not worth the effort especially if using a "short" charge or if sniping with a buddy.

Tactical sniper rifle.
Longest kill was something like 720+ 9 months or so ago. Sitting on my own MCC, shooting into the enemy ground spawn. Haven't really sniped much with a sniper rifle since, forge gun is better at it :P
If you're looking for the best way to get kills, just watch your teammates as they shoot people and then fire when the shields go down. Kill stealing at it's finest. |
