I was just talking to a friend of mine that used to play M.A.G. ith me and i was explaining to him how good Dust514 is but how pitiful matchmaking is.After sharing a couple of ideas he mentioned how MAG matchmaking worked in the end, an i thought, why not do something like this for Dust514?
The idea: The idea is simple, divide players depending on SP gain since its the closest thing we have to ''levels''.
GÖª Battle academy up to 2 mill Sp
GÖª Ambush & Domination & Skirmish would be divided into 2: If you are under 5 mill, you can play Trainee Public contracts with other players under 5 mill or choose to play Mercenary Public Contracts with no SP limitation. Any player with over 5 mill must play Merc Public Contracts and cannot join Trainee Public Contract Matches.
GÖª Faction war unlocks after 10 mill, ensuring players have a general idea of the game plus enough SP to afford decent equipment. Faction
War has become a lot more important part of this game, making many players abandon their ''MERC'' stat to become soldiers of their favourite Faction. We cannot have Newberries that have NO FACTION loyalty and NO experience on how effectivley play Dust514 decide the fate of these Factions.
GÖª Planetary Conquest would remain the same,considering most matche ARE full of elite players as it is an they have no ''newberry'' issues at all.
So what do you think?

Well as it is most of our playerbase IS over 10 mill considering most of us are ''vets'' in a way and most newberries leave constantly.
With this we would get to be separeted FROM newberries and they would enjoy the game more,there by staying,there by increasing the playerbase.
