Against no AV, maybe. Anytime a serious AV user decides that he wants to get you, they can, and will if you are running solo. So either you don't call in your tank against full squads, which makes you a scrub, or you have never played solo against a real AV person. If he gets his PS3 back, I will pay for all your tanks if you go 1 v 1 with Alldin. After you lose 20 or so, then you can try and talk about how you roll solo.

Chased down and hunted is the way known tankers live. That you have not experienced such a scenario means that you have never been a threat, even to the teams of randoms that you tank against.

I too have been hunted by 'tards who don't know what they are doing. Most I have faced off with and lived was 7. With a LLAV backing me up. But those are dummies, who don't understand cover, don't know how to ambush, and couldn't co-ordinate if you paid them. That has no comparison to what happens when people who have actually specced AV decide to come at you. My personal fav is the STB clown cars. I don't know if they do this for others, but I get this treatment everytime. 2 LLAV's, 5 or 6 guys, all with AV grenades, some with swarms, and at least Roman with his prof 4 forge along for the ride. After they pop you, you call out another tank and have another go at them. Maybe you pop one lav and get away for a bit, maybe you make a nice escape back to your base, maybe they pop you again because you could only take out one cars worth of people. When you start dealing with those scenarios, then you come and talk to me about tanking solo. You and Void are opposite sides of the same coin. Drama queens who think that anything other than your way is the end of the game.

No e If the second hardener and rep are already going, of course they can survive that. Goes to show everybody that you lie about being a tanker. From full health, no reps or hardeners running, on a 180 nano plate, 3 Lai Dais leave you with under 300 armour, if I remember correctly. Been a long time since I was that stupid.

BTW, when these three random LLAVs showed up, how did you just so happen to find the only three randoms who run remote armor reps on a Limbus to escort you? I have had a single random do it, and on more than one occasion, a second LLAV has showed up to assist my own LLAV driver. But three Limbii(Limbuses?) showing up with remote reps, as a random event? Nope, not buying it.

Bad tankers are still going ot try and do stupid **** and get blasted for attempting it. Good AV troops will still corner, pin, or ambush tanks, even those driven by skilled pilots. All I am hoping for is some balance, where AV, infantry and vehicles all have their place, all have their weaknesses, and all have their strengths. Hopefully we can get there, and hopefully the forthcoming patch is the first step.
