What we have:
CA: Rail- longest range, 2nd highest initial, 2nd lowest DPS missile medium-long range, high DPS, burst of doom but not sustainable in brawls
GA: blaster- short range balanced brawler, best infantry killer, accurate, extreme falloff effect, 2nd highest DPS
What we need:
CA: EWAR turrets: Scanners, nosfaratus, stasis webifiers, turret disruptor
MN: auto cannon- lowest range, highest dispersion , highest DPS, slow to overheat. The only turret that can smash a blaster (but needs to be within 15m to do so) Howitzer- 500m range, has firing arc that is adjustable to fire over hills (can operate as a morter or a gun). Slowest ROF (4.0), highest initi DMG (2300), 8m splash radius with 400 splash. Small 5 round clip with 8 second reload.
GA Scatter blaster- semi-auto plasma cannon designed to damage very large groups of infantry, but DPS too low to handle other tanks. Fires 1000 plasma bolts in a 45-¦ spread, (0.50) ROF, each bolt does 1.5 damage. Effective out to 20m but then bolts vaporize. Drones: Turns tank into a drone carrier. Allows up to five drones to circle within 30m of tank, healing allied units (each drone does one of the following and can be custom picked for each turret; vehicle armor plates OR shields, infantry armor or shields, ammo, or 20% revives) combat drones which fire short range plasma bolts, each with a 50% accuracy of bolts which do 100dps, and have 400HP. Drones are counted as ammo. Each tank, when fully loaded, carries 1 of each drone type at the ready and one of each type in reserve.
AM: Beam laser: a laser effective out to 530m that works the same as infantry lasers in every regard. When in optimum, they begin with a DPS of 500, and warm up to 2100 in 6 seconds, while overheating at 10 and causing 800 DMG to the tank. |

Minmatar should get a breach-like blaster, like when you're nearly over-heating your blaster and you quickly tap and hold R1 and it goes into that breach motion. |

How about they give us MAVs? I'd consider speccing half into vehicles if they did. They could fit Medium turrets and have Mortars, Flamethrowers, Scatter Shot and Explosive Rivets. Add modules that boost the stats of nearby squad members or heal them when activated and you have the ultimate support vehicle. It'll never happen, but I can dream about a time where vehicles are more than "roll up, harden up, shoot up, roll down, recall" or "I CAN HIT YOU WITH MAH TAXI!" |

vehicles and turrets don't work like that, all of that would have to be added, then made into turrets and modules for everything. Plus, healing people really should be for the LLV's, but boosting stats does seem interesting for the LMV if there ever is one.
(side note: the MAV's from pictures I've seen will have a medium turret and a small turret.) |

Sounds like you should swap the autocannon and the blaster. Blasters in EVE have the shortest range of all turrets, and the highest DPS. |

1: I think the EWAR should just stay modules. It just makes sense imo. And we already got scanners as modules, so it would make no sense.
2: Name the turret the plasma spewer, and I'm in
3: The laser damage and range values seem too high imo. |

AM (cont) Pulse laser: a large scrambler that overheats fast, but has a proportitely large DPS. Each pulse does 1000 damage, but overheats at 4 short pulses. Can charge for 4 seconds to hit with 2800 DMG and overheat as if 3 were fired. Effective out to 380m. Pinpoint accurate.
Turret attachments: 4x scope 8x scope 12x scope Target painter ( makes all enemy and friendly vehicles glow red out to 300m)

Autocannons should have slightly more range than blasters and slightly less DPS than them too.
Personally, I can't wait for Minmatar Turrets. |
