...who has faith in ccp?
Before they were just nerfing willy nilly, but now they actually have a track to go on.
They are starting to finish the game's basic assets, surely they can't get out 2 new heavy weapons, AND 2 new rifles, A N D 3 new heavy frames, AND 2 new scouts, AND 6 new vehicles?
And people are complaining about all of this at the same time.
However though, they are actually starting to get stuff done, tanks before were balanced on recharge times, armor tanks being able to outrep enemy damage until cooldowns, whereas shield tanks had to leave the area after a few hits thanks to crap recharge. Now theyre making it as it should've been.
Rifles are being filled, so the GAR can't be a rapid fire sniper rifle, av is going to be more of a niche weapon, rather than swarms being i kill everything in a can, whereas FG is an explosive sniper rifle with 3m splash.
Am i the ONLY one who actually has hope? |

Funny, because i am depressed IRL, until i get on dust, then i'm more or less happy... Until a core instasplodes my 700 hp proto minnie assault.
Also of note is the fact that everyone i squad with has to complain about something, be it snipers being up, or mass drivers being op, or hell, even the fact a shotgunner pegged em in the ass.
One friend of mine complains that he was caught in a meatgrinder scenario, and when i asked him 'did you even try to escape and attack on more favorable terms?' He says, 'yeah, ****. That. ****.' I even told him to grab a militia gallente light and throw an uplink, he tells me 'but i don't want to miss out on the kills' yet he stayed there, and ran 2/11
Sometimes... Makes you wonder if anyone else is even competent...
But yeah, would be nice to have legit people to squad with, rather than stat padders and moaners. |

And tats a bad thing? Even if they keep your light slot, you'll have a sidearm for your 'scoutly logis' or logis that need free space to fit that extra remote eplosive or nanohive, even my repper logi fit uses a stndsrd scrampistol, so as to save space for my nanite/hive/scanner |

I already have SMG, but with every logi forced to run around with an Ishukone, that'll be next. The butthurt brigade is relentless. |

I have 12.6 mill SP, been here since february, i even made my character before i could buy a ps3.
My first character- NymphSenpai-Pai, had 1.3 million sp and recruit AR Bpo, i even skilled almost exclusively in heavies, had Adv hmg, std dmg mods, and basic armor stuff.
But i skilled partly into vehicles and got mad at myself after making so many mistakes that i deleted it and made lynn Beck, i was going to use a name from Strike Witches(anime, lots of leg-shots) but i couldn't remember Sanya's full name, nor did i think it would fit, so i made one up.
Typically when i play an RPG, i play on a throwaway to skill out EVERYWHERE, so i can figure out the general gist of how the classes work, then delete the character and make my specialised char.
Even considering the major drawbacks and problems that are uber-apparent, it's still the best F2P i've ever played.
iphone f2p games are more like 'free to play, but you have to pay 20$ just to get the gold gear needed for this boss, then buy another set at level 65.
Pc mmo's that i've played give you a very limited area you can play in, but to use say a longsword that isn't starter gear, you have to subscribe. If you want to join a guild/clan you need to pay 39k gold a week for membership, which can be bought 500k for .99$
Or grind for 6 days without spending to make 50k.
So yeah, by far the best of all f2p i've ever played.
Even EvE doesn't compare to this, in EvE you "can" plex your way out of a trial account, but if you miss a few days, or if your pc blows up- you're screwed and have go start over on the grind. |

I wont have any faith in CCP till they elise that ARs in all racial varients need a good nerf, the ability to kill any suit in under two seconds with half a clip, especialy heavy suits lol, is just ruining the game, turinign it from a tactical shooter to AR proficiancy 5 wins every fire fight shooter. damage bonus for proficancy needs to go and menignful bonuses like range, or hip fire acuracy for diferant races needs to take its place. |

Again, the one thing i say needs fixed, but until then, take 49k from your assault skillplan and grab a basic logistics, and 24k on a set of r/e's, many people don't realise that little X on the ground when they scan, and continue to stand on it as they shoot at you, think of Noncombat ways to engage in combat.
Say- even a laser rifle on a caldari assault with 2 enhanced dmg mods, armor plates and part shield extenders, can be a gamechanger for solo play, a cardiac regulator and reactive plate, mixed with Mass driver and max shield+ dmg mod make wonders for anto blob warfare,
Generally i'd say at least get standard in various things, so that you are less vulnerable to nerfs.
I've still got my proto assault, and officer smg combo. Just to make sure i can pull my weight when it's needed to just straight up zerg. If you have say a proto logistics and want to try assult, just usee your adv basic frame, as it's generally the same thing.
Keep thinking up ways to widen out with as little Sp as possible, because then you're more adaptible. |

Sgt kirk, why don't you join me for a squad in a few hours? I'm ALWAYS on from 9pm-2Am eastern, sometimes i get on earlier, sometimes i play until 4 Lol.
I'm always game for helping open-minded people relearn their game. Many matches i don't even try to win, i just spam R/e's on corners and count how many times i can repeat a tactic until the SAME guy realises he's being had
Like one solo ambush, there was ONE clone left: Me. I got scanned and started laughing, as i noticed the other 8 guys rush me, i laid explosive traps, using a nanohive every 2nd explosive, i killed 2 in the first set, killed another with my scrambler, ran outside the city and set an R/e on the ridge, and hid behind the hill waiting for him to rush me headon. As he started to flank i realized that my 350hp logi was going to get murdered, so i did what any sane person would- rush at him headon and kill him, however he realised what i was attempting, and cooked a nade, so i threw my last R/es on the floor and blew the both of us up.
End result: our team lost, but i killed like 4 people solo, with a scout logi. |

Maybe if they focused a bit less on AUR items and started focusing on content/bugs exclusively, work would get done somewhat faster.
Not much faster because they have to model and program new weapons, but still. |

If you're hard set on hating dust/ccp, then WHY DO YOU BROWSE THE FORUMS?! Makes no sense to me why you'd force yourself to go through something you hate so much. Got a working Pc? Download Mabinogi or Vindictus, great f2p mmos. Or if you really want Fps game, i hear battlefield has a f2p, or even grab Tribes:Ascend
Or stick around and put up with 3 annoying things for by far the best f2p imo.
Just my opinions though, nothing important here. |

To be honest i suck at dust. Even when i had a good playstyle i still sucked. actually i suck a playing video games all together. But its not about doing well its about having fun  |
