Is there a timeframe on when this will be implemented. This year or is it longer away. Lots of people are looking forward to this. And since it has so large role in EVE I do hope it will have that here to. |

/me in his dropship, carrying a cargobay full of mercs. and drones to the battlefield.
A wild redberry appears! Redberry begins shooting at dropship with AR.
/me intones: "These are not the drones you are looking for."
Redberry, due to the implementation of proximity chat, walks away confused.
Me and squad have a good chortle and move on to the next district (because in this utopian future districts are connected and perpetual warfare is possible). |

I can't really see this happen. You would need more players than Eve Online has for this. |

It's not going to be for a long while. CCP still has to add the rest of the weapons (coming very soon), dropsuits (fairly soon), vehicles (not so soon). And balance them (see current time for balancing what we already have).
Then we'll start getting PvE. After that, new vehicles, faction ****, etc. It'll blow up from there.
CCP games are not for the impatient. |
