Nerf went the wrong direction IMO. Should've kept the damage, but lowered the RoF and significantly raised the CPU. |

sigh....how do people talk like this.
I mean the reason logi's are run are because people make side arms useless( at least one of the reasons ), and aside from that SMG's are better then most AR's in a lot of situations. |

UP, only the proto flaylock is worth running, and even it requires a bit of skil to use right. I do run one ocasionaly because its easy to fit.
I personaly think it needs a buff somewhere and just reduce clip size or nerf RoF to make up for it. |

Almost Right.
Splash -> Perfect (Includes radius and damage) Ammo -> Perfect RoF -> Perfect Direct -> Nope
Needs more direct. |

The Core Flaylock should be a sidearm, but not the sidearm it is now. It should be the cheapest weapon to fit on any suit, even at prototype level. Also just a slight increase to it's blast radius would make it worth using over the SMG. |

Isn't Ishukone a prototype weapon? Plus one that requires prof. to at least 1. Hmmm...
Scrambler Pistol has been good for a while. People just never gave it a solid chance. Personally, I run with the Assault Scrambler Pistol. Pewpewpew. If they aren't dead in seven shots, I'm ******. (I say this because I have a habit of dual wielding em.) I don't use the SMGs. They feel a little... off. Like mini-ARs. Which is weird to even say. |

This is subjective.
If you go by the principle, that a secondary should never out do a primary 99x out of 100, then you can say its OP.
If you go by the fact that if its any weaker, then its not worth using in Fitting, then you can say its UP.
I can't remember the last time I was killed by a Flaylock, even after being shot by a primary and the opponent made the switch to the secondary. Things like secondaries are always touchy, because how strong should a secondary be?

Want to know why the MD isn't OP? It's harder to fit than an AR, limited ammo, and fires one grenade a second. |

I have Proto flaylock and the sole reason for this is the no-low PG requirements, i am a fan of sidearms because after killing two people and my scram rifle is at the brink of overheat is nice to pull out a sidearm and finish of the third red dot. but the flaylock ether just does not fit my play style or it is just not good. Because i would pick a Adv scram pistol over a proto flaylock any day. The only reason i spec'd into flaylocks is to fit them on my suits that are tight on PG.
Again Flaylock are okay and i can deal with them but i don't think they are near the level of other Sidearms. |

Yes, the ishukone is a proto SMG, and ridicuiously high in damage. It has better dispersion and DPS then the HMG currently.
I know scramblers have been good. They are ******** good. Which is why i thinkt the argument of the Flaylock being so UP because its a "sidearm", when there are two sidearms that are arguably stronger then other light weapons, or in the case of the SMG, stronger then a Heavy weapon.
Did the flaylock need a nerf? Yes.
Did it needed to get nerfed so far into the ground that even the mole men threw it away as garbage? No. |

The dmg is too low and the radius, even when maxed out, is too small.
It needed a nerf, no question, just not as much as it got.
Just to be clear, I did not use it pre nerf. I specced I to it recently for the same Viktor. It fits my PG heavy suits quite well. |

cpu/pg consumption of the weapon is dirt cheap, so maybe instead of direct effectiveness its meant to be something you can fit onto anything.
In regards to performance, it under performs when compared to the other sidearms but it is a lot cheaper too.
If there are any plans to buff it, it would also entail a raise in cpu/pg |

Compare the current SMG to the new minnie rifle, and you will have an answer. Personally i believe tey should have similar dpS to their light counterpart, but severely limited by clip capacity amd range. The flaylock however, doesn't have a rifle counterpart. So by your apparent 'no sidearm can be better than the light' viewpoint, then what would happen if we had a flayrifle? Bump direct damage to prenerf, they should own anybody if the person shooting can land all 3(4 on lv4 minnie assault) Because let's admit it, nobody that isn't the incarnation of god will land direct hits withthat thing. |

i think it should have just been nerfed to where it cant be fitted in the light or heavy weapon slot.
so it cant be dual wielded.
that was the op part of it as i saw it.
i dont think its up though.
its just impossible to easily reach the extremely high kd/rs that ppl were getting with it before the nerf.
it should be considered your back up weapon and not a primary.

I used it as a scout an wish I had the points back. I have a sg, Fay, nk, an smg. The smg is now the only 100% reliable weapon I have, unles you rok damage mods on the fay you can barely even use it to finish a guy, you have better luck with a m1 |

I have found that since the nerf, my flaylock pistol is still powerful, but only in how easy it is to fit. It in no way can compare to how close the SMG and SCP can get to competing with light weapons, but if you need something with little fitting and some punch, it serves at least that role still. |
