every map is fought over during the day where you can see for miles. do they not have night time in eve lol.
i want pitch black open areas, building areas lit up like christmas trees. turret installations with spotlights on them scanning for enemies. dropships with turret mounted spotlights.
just some variety and depth of play please.
suggestion make night vision as equipment. so you can choose to fit it or not. |

well maybe not pitch black but i have done many operations and training exercises in the dark, not being able to see your hand infront of your face. seeing flashes of light and tracer rounds flying about. hearing things but not seeing it until you turn on your NV. dust is lacking allot of atmosphere. |

why not. no reason why ccp couldn't have generators for lighting in the cities. a group of ninja assassin scouts could go in, take out the lights and go predator on the enemys asses. or a logi bro gets his rep tool on it to turn the lights back on and expose those scouts etc hiding in the darkness. |

i have done countless hours of driving in the darkness without nv while my vehicle commander who did have it guided me. doesn't get more intense and fun than that |

imagine this. your totally proto stomping the city, suddenly the lights go out and your weapon flash light comes on with an effective range of about 10-15m. oh no,
meanwhile a squad of nova knife scouts with NV equipped have penetrated the city and are proceeding to kill your entire team.
that is until they arrive at the objective and there is a proto MD who never leaves home without NV spots them and wipes the floor with them |

thats all well and good. but imagine this, would this game be any better for it to have suits with no slots because shields and armor are built in. a statement that "its all like daylight because our helmets are so advanced" is an invalid argument if we are ever going to get a truly immersive experience

there are limitations today.... but what about tomorrow. no one said it has to be in the next patch. ccp is going to hit a point where they have to upgrade at some point. when that time comes i want night maps

i glanced over night vision in my posts. but it should be an option to fit not an everyone automatically has. they would be cpu and pg intensive so as to create situational fits not just take the ones we have into every fight
