Just was in a Domination match were Nyain San and Geisha girls were fully stacked on one side, my side were random blueberries. I am came late into the battle as the team was already red lined and was being hit by an orbital as I cloned in. I say our shields were at 50% and there's not even a scratch. I was trying to push out of the red line and was met by a squad of proto's and 2 DS. Thanks to CCP taking away the war barge, I did not have time to prepare for this. No idea who the team or teams I was facing or was teamed up with and this puts you at a disadvantage. I am all for quick game play, but there should be a way to tell if you are going to be facing a proto stomping team.
I came in at 3rd place with just 2 kills 1 death with 215 WP. The highest on our team was 332. First time I died I came in with my proto to counter them and was then met with a tank and 2 LAV's and more DS. I then switched over to SL to counter the tank that was now camping our red line with three squads of proto A** Holes. By the time I fired my first volley they had destroyed our only supply depot. Now I was stuck running SL and was unable to switch fits. They were not satisfied by red lining a team and began to drive there tank and LAVs into our red line.
WTF when do you say I won and sit at the objective and see if the other team can counter you. In my opinion Nyain San is a weak corp and have to pub stomp to feel good about themselves. CCP this is also your fault for allowing two corps to proto stomp on some randoms.
So my question is, should I along with several ringers run Nyain San into the ground and teach them a lesson or should I just walk away from this and shake my fist at CCP?

Have you ever dropped into a match with proto stompers and been on their team? Lets say you have, just for arguments sakes.
You drop in....they are proto-stomping it up. You're on the line and racking up kills of your own, +50 Kill all over your screen like a Christmas tree with lights on it. You notice....wait a second, I'm on the protostomping team. How many times have you ever quit, forfeited the isk and the WP and said no this isn't right, I can't be a part of this.?
Exactly.
Zero.
So yeah...its a game, those guys earned their gear and they know how to coordinate and use it and they earn their wins. They protostomp the crap out of you because that's the name of the game. What is puzzling to me, however...is that instead of being on the game and getting weekly bonus SP OR getting tiny 300-500SP when your bonus SP is exhausted...and climbing and scratching your way to proto gear....you are on the forum bitching about protostompers.
Do you not see the fundamental errors with that linear logic? I mean, seriously.
First off if my team is doing this, I stay at the objective and guard it. I have morals and I believe in fair game play. The fact that most defend proto stomping from one side of there mouth and then the other they are all about making this game fair and balanced is BS.

and your corp does not proto stomp the other day you were using a Thale's in a pub so stop your complaining you are a hypocrite
I use a Thale because I cant stand using a Charge sniper, the noise is to much. Second I only pull proto if it is pulled on me. The Thale is a single weapon, your squad runs proto squads with tank and DS support see the difference. Now If I ran with a squad of proto's with tanks and red line a team and smash there teeth in than you can call me a hypocrite. I run solo because that is what I choose, but to sit there and watch a team that has better gear red line a team and then have the nerve to drive into the red line so they can pad there KD/R is F****** sad.

YOU r the biggest cry baby in dust! Boo hoo, you shot me. You can check players at anytime. Why did'nt you just leave? What is the point of suits if you can't use them?
Its not about losing suits I have a plethora of money and suits. Its the F***** morals. The point of proto is to use them if you are being challanged by them, PC, and the occasional FW. They were not meant to red line a team and demoralize the new guys, how are you supposed to build a player base if S*** like this keeps going on. I am just trying to point out a problem that is killing our player base. I love a battle that goes down to wire, but to watch a group of blueberries struggling to get out of there red line due a team proto stomping and using tanks is a bit much. Then to top it off, they drive into the F***** red line to pad there KD/R. |

Again that is my Corp. I run solo, if I turn down the noise I will fail to hear my surrounding. I run solo over 95% of the time, what my corps does I cant say because I run solo. I do not condone red lining a weaker team then running into it to pad my KD/R. What good does that do, congratulations you just made our player base even smaller. |

Mr. Machine gun, was it not you the other day that sent me a message saying, nice shot. I then TY and went on my way. I use the Thale because it is by far the best sniper rifle. I also use the Kaal, but its not my style to pump round after round into someone and watch them walk or run off. I use the Thale because it does its job, it kills clean and efficient. I am only one person using a weapon to kill my target. The match I speak of was three squads, tanks, and DS to counter some randoms. Do you see the difference, I one player using a single weapon vs. 3 squads, tanks, and DS's. Also that same group had snipers overlooking the red line, to pick off anyone who cloned in.

i also said really? meaning you using a thales in a pub match. No you use the thales because it the most powerful rifle in the game
No I could pull out my balac, or run my proto Heavy with a Gatsun. I use a Thale because it is the closest thing to a true sniper rifle this game has and I also like the scope, but the sway is a pain. |
