A group of Japanese die-hard fans calling themselves Suidobashi Heavy Industry have started development on their indigenous mecha christened as 'Vaudeville'. This 4,500kg hulk is designed with some booming metallic components, all finished with a definite essence of stark linearity.

Coming to its working attributes, the machine utilizes both off-the-shelf hardware and software for its exclusive functionality. As with all mechanical suits, it contains an inner capsule for the intelligent human pilot. And, to correspond to the movement pattern of this human, the set up is guided by an Xbox Kinect motion tracking system. In fact, the mechanism is pretty simplistic in its core, because it is an inclusive smartphone that helps in interpreting the movements and sending the appropriate commands to the mecha's muscles and limbs.

Finally, coming to the broader aspect of this fascinating endeavor, the enthusiasts hope to design the final contraption with finer paint details and exclusive 'weaponry' like optional water-pistols. So, when the correct visual as well as functional balance is achieved, the product can be made available to be sold on a commercial scale.
