Actually 20% is around 15-17PG so finally it was pretty good huh ?


But it's in percent so it depend about you dropsuit and oyur skills.

You use 3 advanced equipements but how much equipement slot do you have ?
What's your Max PG/CPU ?
And what's your 3 equipements ?????


I also use 3 advanced but...
Nano K-2 : 7PG.
R-9 drop : 11PG
BDR-8 repair : 8 PG.

I use Amarr Logi. Advanced.
My maximum PG is 62, my CPU is 327 I think.
I have 3 equipment slots.

I use:
BDR-2 Repair tool. 4 PG
KIN-12 Injector 4 PG
K-2 Nanohives 7 PG

15/62 is used for equipment. 24%.
Some of my suits use Compact Hives though, because the ScR is a PG hog.

That's as ******** as requiring an assault to fit damage mods or light weapon instead of just using a sidearm, or as ******** as requiring a heavy to fit a heavy weapon. The whole point of the fitting system is to give you the freedom to do what you want, this proposal spits in the face of that.

I did some quick calcs and 20% does indeed seem fine. Only my Placon suit would be broken. I have a suggestion though, instead of 20% of maximum PG has to be used for equipment, how about 20% of used PG has to be used for equipment. So that if I make a suit that only uses 50/62 PG, only 10 of that needs to be used for equipment.

So there's a SIMPLE solution to not getting down the Logi power BUT to make the logi using his power as intended.
This will make Logi still competitive but not overpowered or better than assault.

Logi are too powerful because of 2 things :

-A*sholes who don't fit equipement and get a full rack of complex mods.
-Lot of PG/CPU used by mods and not by equipements as intended.



EVERY equipements slot MUST be fitted. CCP must block the fit if one equipement slot is empty (like when you don't have a weapon fitted the fit is "Not Valid")

Battle logi will take Amarr or Caldari (3 slot only in proto)
Support logi will take Minmatarr/Gallente (4slot)

At least 20% of the used PG/CPU MUST be used for equipement

No basic equipement (3 basic reppers that use nothing is PG/CPU) as a proto.
You want a lot of PG/CPU to fit every mods you want ? Go away. Play as a real LOGI or get the fu*k out.





With these two really simple thing we're gonna have balanced Logi.
Logi will be still competitive (Versatile with high Slots/PG/CPU and lot of equipement slot).
BUT will use it to help his teamates and still be an effective combat unit. (Not an extroardinary soldier)

Like this post make than the Dev see it.
It will balance everything.
Logi who already play as intended will not be nerfed and Logi who use their fit as not as intended will be nerf.
It's perfect isn't ? (I'm a 14Millions SP logi i know what i'm talking about. )
Don't need a assault buff or a too big Logi Nerf. It's gonna break the game nothing else.

No it doesnt fix the problem. It is trivial to equip low power items.

The only fix to "logis stack too many combat things in low/high slots instead of equipment", is to reduce the number of low and high slots they have.
