Normalize the hi and low slots between assault and logi suits.
Replace current blanket bonus (Passive armor rep) with something that actually pertains to logi'ing (Equipment effiecency, CPU and PG reduction) as to make up for less slots for CPU and PG mods.
The two suits should be equals in EHP(one or two AR bullets difference) with sidearms, and equipment being the main difference between the two.
BTW, logis move MARGINALLY slower then assaults of the same level. |

BTW, logis move MARGINALLY slower then assaults of the same level. They already are only 1 or 2 AR bolts away from having equal max health. The stupid "Logi>Assault" myth is wrong, plain and simple. Also, the max health argument is stupid too, Minny suits have the lowest possible max health, but Minny Assault suits make some of the best assault suits. Do you know why they make some of the best assault suits? They move fast. EHP isn't everything. 1. The proto logi and proto assault of the Caldari can have 2 more plate, and one more extender then the assault. So, about 300 HP difference. Balanced, right? The one that doesn't need to be having shot at
2. The proto med frames of the Gallente also have a HP difference. The logi has 200 more hP
3. While an minmatar may move faster, but what does that matter? I can call in a 27k LAV and move faster, but what does that matter if I can get there fast if I have a LAVfull of scouts? Get LAV, shove full of logis, attack obby, revive dead logis wash rinse repeat.
The slower logi matters not, when you have 300 more HP, and can just use a LAV to get around that |

The slower logi matters not, when you have 300 more HP, and can just use a LAV to get around that More slots does not always translate into more HP. First you have to have the CPU/PG to equip those modules. You are also forgetting that the Assault suits start with a higher base HP than Logis...that narrows your "gap" significantly. Given that logis don't need to worry about that because they have more CPU and PG then the assault suits, that is a null point. |

Read this entirely. Stop saying ideas one by one without why or how.....
What i say got sense i explain why it should be done. I'd rather get restricted to sidearms than deal with that convoluted fitting system. Exactly. Just keep in mind both of those options are comparable to deciding on a punch to the face or a kick in the nuts. I know, but HP or slot removal will just make us grenade or sniper fodder, trust me I don't want sidearms only but it seems to be better than HP or slot nerf and iv not seen any other proposals worth remembering. If the Devs go with slot removal, and they go with it I. THe way most of the people who want slots removed want it done, then you'd have the HP of the assaults. Considering they can get about 7/8 hundred HP, I highly doubt that logis can't survive with 800 HP.
If the assault suit users can do it, you can do it better. |
