So, I played my first match today. As soon as I got into the match, I noticed that the enemy was tank heavy so I swapped out my gear to swarms. I was not killed the entire match. I then look at the end screen and see 1 death.
WTF is this nonsense? Im penalized for switching out to aide my team in a win?
So swapping out means that not only do I lose my fitting but it counts against my stats/clone count as well? |

Didn't work like that for me this morning. I swapped several times but only had 2 deaths listed, which were both when snipers nailed me.
Maybe you caught a glitch, or just forgot a death. |

Definitely didnt forget a death. In the timeline at the end screen it had no red dot on it.
Im fine with losing the fit if I switch out but the death was a little absurd. |

Probably a glitch then. I switched fittings a lot this morning while testing things out and I registered no deaths. |

Definitely sounds like a glitch of some kind since Ive switched fittings a half dozen times or more in a match and never had those count as deaths |

Sorry to go slightly off the topic but a different supply depot experience.
The other night our squad deployed into a battle with no enemy team so we messed about hacking and blowing up stuff for WP, near the end of the match there was nothing left to do and I was a heavy forge at the red line just finished taking out the last turret on the map within reach. I wanted to swap fits and we had hacked a supply depot just inside the red line, I waddled my fat ass over there seeing the timer tick down, changed suits and try to dash back out in time only to look and see that the timer had reset and was now at 16 seconds compared to 7? when I got there I think. Unfortunately the match ended shortly after so was unable to test if I could just stand in the red line switching suits as the timer got close to 0 every time to stay alive.
I didn't notice any increased deaths from it though, just the silly suicide runs I did before hand. |

KDR isnt the biggest thing but it does matter to some.
The big points are that it costs your team a clone (which can be big) and you lose money.
If its a glitch then thats fine, it happens. I will have to test it out later. |

Haven't noticed deaths ... then again I die alot :-)
But have noticed that available fittings are often red and unavailable for selection. |
