Second Wave
The PDF is has been facing stiff engagements all throughout the day. With the nukes continuing to devastate the land and changing key points on the battlefield. With all fronts basically stalled Praetoria is now a frontline planet, confirmed and declared by Occupation Forces Command. Due to this and its vital importance in the war as a wall defending AE's doorstep, all corporation in the alliance have sent men and fleets to assist.
While waiting and holding the line the PDF were on their own. Outnumbered and nearly outmatched they hold against the PD onslaught but are taking crushing losses on the front lines. With the PD using overwhelming number and brute force the PDF has adjusted their tactic's now understanding the PD's playbook. Still Praetorian Defense Forces are still just taking too many casualties and with the MHPD and Sver remnants arriving before Occupation Forces' reinforcements the fight was near desperate.
PDF were given orders to hold their positions at all cost and every inch PD would get would have to be earned in blood. To Ockikika Ice Caps to Ruan Sea PDF's spilled their blood for the defense of the homeland; with nukes, with orbitals. with tanks, planes, and rocks PDF gave up no land without a cost to the enemy. Due to the outstanding amounts of casualties suffered in battle by the PD second wave much of the PDF veteran's are dead or bogged down. Due to this fighting have now shifted to recruits and volunteers, our CEO is throwing everything they have at the enemy just trying to slow down the momentum of their 2nd Wave.
By midday who ever was alive starting that morning was killed or missing; many are calling the survivors midday veteran's. With the Emo continent on the verge of falling nukes have been authorized on that continent by the CEO himself. The PDF fleets by this time was all but lost, with only 5 fleets still alive they keep up the orbitals and heavy battle over the planet.
Near the end of the day Emo was completely glassed and burning, no survivors of the PDF are reported on that continent. The AE and OH finally reached the besieged planet and help contained the PD forces on Emo. With their support the PDf fleets were able to secure enough space to preform mass evacuations of civilians and other noncombat personnel to the AE home world's. With reinforcements the Occupation Forces generals now ready themselves for another assault and prepare a counter attack to retake what remains of the Emo continent. |
