I'm sure it wouldn't take more than an hour to implement something like this, they really do need locks and the ability to kick people out. |

Me and some old friends squadded up, i am capped on this character so i went to my tanker. It was fun having one guy drive an LAV and me being the NEW murder taxi, running around with my double 10% damage mods and murdering EVERYONE. Ran 27/0 that map, although, nobody bothered to try av. Sadly i couldnt taxi because blueberries stole the seats. They were'nt useful. Spamming my allies with missiles and trying to shoot blue turrets. |

1. Track owner of every vehicle 2. UI check if vehicle owner is in same squad as current player, when close to vehicles (display "enter" option or not) 3. Same check server side to make sure player really can enter vehicle 4. UI, add ability to hack items owned by your own team 5. Server side check for own-team hacking 6. Vehicle "locked/unlocked" state toggle 7. UI to change vehicle state toggle 8. Add check for vehicle state toggle to 2 and 3 9. Disable hack option for unlocked vehicles 10. Define and tune locked vehicle hack time 11. Write and post dev blog/post 12. Read through resulting thread, filter out garbage, find & respond to the two useful posts 13. Deploy to internal test servers 14. Test, including all potential edge cases

They could add a radial command button to bring up the car keys in your hand and add in a faction insignia on it depending on who manufactured the ride. R1 trigger button unlocks vehicle and causes it to honk once so you know what direction it is and turns on headlights, R3 button locks vehicle and turns off lights. |
