Yeah so what title says!
Here let me jog your memory.
What would keep you playing in the next 3 months?
Rogue Drones - Umbrella term for a collection of game mechanics; the rogue drones content and AI, the rogue drones game mode and areas, and seeding of these areas in the universe of new eden. These modes, and the strength of the drones, follow a simple progression path. The modes and areas are designed for one to n players.
Corp Hangers - Shared storage that allows player in the corporation to distribute weapons, equipment and drop suits with one another and even allows for the sharing of complete fittings on a corp level.
Modular weapons - A system to allow for the functional customization of weapons, allowing players to add a variety of attachments such as scopes, stocks, grenade launchers.
Vehicle Capacitor - Replacing the current time duration mechanic of vehicle modules, the capacitor acts as a battery. Each module and weapon fitted on the vehicle consumes capacity, requiring the player to manage his battery reserves intelligently.
Factional Loyalty -Work for any of the various stellar empires in the EVE universe and earn factional loyalty with each one. As loyalty is gained, it is also rewarded in the form of exclusive gear and missions.
Warbarges - Large combat starships that transport armies from planet to planet. Capable of becoming semi-permanent space stations and offering orbital support to troops on the ground. Expensive, so their loss is devastating but at the same time providing support that is invaluable
Contract System 2.0 - Players are able to filter and browse through contracts issued by both NPC corporations and player run corporations. Depending on the type of contract, the player can expect to fight in Faction Warfare, High Security and Planetary Conquest battles.
MTac-¦s - Mech like vehicles that players can skill towards, and purchase. These vehicles are very large, can be airborne for limited durations (jump packs) and follow the same upgrade path rules as other vehicles. Thematically these vehicles are re-purposed civilian maintenance and construction machines, designed mostly for operation outside the hull of space structures.
Boarding Parties - Umbrella term for a collection of game mechanics; new game modes (that build on existing game modes) that are set inside space structures such as Customs Offices, War Barges, or POS (Player Owned Structures) in EVE Online. Successful attack on one of these facilities results in a state change. (Weaken POS shield by 25%. Steal everything in a customs office. Etc)
Cloaking Module - Both for infantry and vehicles, players are able to fit this module and when used become invisible to other players. Count modules and scanners are in place as well.
Stasis Webifier Modules - Building on the combine roles concept, a player is able to use this ability on an enemy vehicle, resulting in its movement being slowed down considerably. This allows the players team mates time and ability to use their weapon of choice to destroy the affected enemy vehicle.
Planetary Conquest - Organized groups of players conquer planets by fighting for control of districts and infrastructure on planets both from land and space to gain access to valuable resources in a politically charged universe filled with hundred thousands players across thousands of solar systems
Orbital Artillery - Large ground based cannon that can destroy ships in orbit over a planetary warzone.
Fighters - jet fighters that the player can skill towards and purchase, these vehicles are fast and require a high degree of skill to use effectively. They have a number of different battle field roles such as air superiority fighters dueling with other pilots for control of the skies or bombers devastating the enemies ground units.
Doomsday Weapon - An object that a team can deploy that enables a direct link to a large EVE Online space ship. Linking this item with the spaceship takes a fairly long time, and if successful the spaceship is able to fire large caliber weapons, destroying everything, including the Surface Infrastructure (urban structures) on that planetary district.
Manufacturing and crafting- DUST Mercs take on the role of industrialists gathering resources to allow them to build equipment, vehicles and weapons to sell to their fellow mercs or build items that can be traded to the pilots in EVE.
Commander mode - The commander mode allow a player to take command of the battle field issuing orders to mercs and guiding the flow of the battle. With this control they get an overview of the entire map and see what their troops see and they can call in support from orbit where it is needed the most.
Merc Customization - A suite of tools allowing players to both customize their mercs physical appearance but also allow for the customizing, vehicles, armor and weapons with decals and colors.
Secondary Market - The secondary market allows players to take their hard earned items and put them up for sale and allows other players to find any items that others are selling making gaining rarer items a lot easier.
Agent System - The agent system is essentially a thematic mission system where players accept missions from an NPC agent. Upon successful completion of a mission, the player gets a reward and earns increased standing with his/her agents faction. Improved standing increases the value (and difficulty) of the missions. Missions can be set in PVE rogue drone areas, as well as PVP battles |
