I would do what I did before the last respec
I would go full vehicles, but this time I wouldn't be blinded by hatred and rage and I would use those skills for more than just Dropships

THE GREY CARDINAL wrote:Nothing. I never partook in the short sighted chase of FotM; I maxed dropsuit core upgrades, galente logi, minmatar logi, MD lvl 5 and then started on logi lav and DS. I live by the "live with your consequences" nature of EVE unlike most of the softcocks in these forums who are crying for a 2nd chance now that their crutches got nerfed. The vast majority of players don't chase FotM
It's a myth propagated by a few players on this forum. Percent wise it's a very small number of players who specifically skill into things because they're "OP" or "FotM"
There are no informed decisions when core skills are being removed, added, and altered. These aren't additions, they're base, core things. |

Percent wise it's a very small number of players who specifically skill into things because they're "OP" or "FotM" I'm sure CCP has stats on how many core flaylocks there are out there ... caldari logis were a much deeper isk sink, but the number of flaylocks shows exactly how many people will look for the next OP fitting combination if they had all their sp back to spend. I know I skilled it day 1 for my swarm fit cos the release video made it look much better than the SMG, which it was. Most people wanted to try it because it was new and cool, it just so happened that CCP screwed the pooch and it was horribly OP. I guarantee most who picked the flaylock still would have picked it with current stats. And the proto is still a great weapon. And again, it's a small percent of players, we just have a tiny playerbase and a much smaller sample size playing PC, where the problem was most obvious. |

CAELAN Andoril wrote:I would wait until Minmatar Heavy suits are released, then dump as much SP into that. From there on, I'd focus on Core Skills, then Heavy Weapons, various Minmatar racial weapons and so on until I ran out of SP. You might not have to wait long, no official word but it's looking like at the very least all racial suits will be in the winter expansion (1.7 or 1.8)
It would be the perfect time to drop racial variants on vehicles as well, but judging from the development schedule thus far that's likely asking too much.
