-Invest 12700 SP into Laser Rifles
-Fight at the LR optimum range
-Squad up and whilst the AR users rush in you can hold back and pick off kills/kill assists
-Equip an SMG/Flaylock depending on what you prefer as a sidearm and when they rush in tap R2 and switch to it
-Equip a Scanner, use it often as this allows you to see who's around you and get into position at your optimum range to pick them off/run away if you see a group of them in the vicinity and you have no support
-Great in fairly open areas where you can keep a distance of over 65m, not so great in small compounds but that's why you have an SMG/Flaylock as a sidearm
-LR optimum % v shields is 120% so if it is below that then move back/closer until its at 120% and get used to fighting at that distance, it becomes second nature after a while
This is a very small SP sink of 12700 and as you get used to fighting at the LR optimum range and get used to knowing when to release the trigger to prevent overheating/keep it going and take the feedback damage to get that extra kill you will become more familiar with the maps/game modes/ weapons and can then specialise into what you want to play as
Using an AR with 500k sp will see you get slaughtered game after game because you're constantly within everyone's range in the heat of battle without the eHP/experience of the game to really know what your doing, using the aforementioned tips you will be at a distance where you can watch what others do see what works and what doesn't whilst getting kills and scaring the crap out of anyone you're up against ...
Often people will say pick up a sniper rifle and snipe from the redline but that's pointless, unless you plan on being a sniper you will learn absolutely nothing
The LR forces you to think about your positioning because the damage fall off when you're out of its optimum range is so huge you really have to pick your engagements carefully
It's super cheap

Tip #2 Don't go heavy, they suck at the moment, yes commando looks interesting, no it isn't that great either. |

My number one tip is to invest in scanners and profile dampeners. You get a huge advantage in scanning without being scanned. |

Thanks for the standard protoscrub reply.. you can kill new players using protogear congratulations ... I can kill kittens using a sledgehammer all praise me !!!!!
PS 80m with an AR requires maxed out AR skills .. if you need all that just to kill someone with 12700 SP invested then clearly it's a good tip |

what? I'm confused. Are you mixing me up with someone else? I was never in the redline... was this a Jab at my corp? I don't do pc so if it's about that I wouldn't know. |
