If race will ever matter in Dust (even if it ends up being purely cosmetic), it'd make sense to allow people to switch it now, before it's all set.
Given you example, wouldn't it make more sense to allow people to "respec" their race after it's all set?

I RP as a Gallentean but in my time with the Black Eagles I have seen the darkness of our government and wishes to change it.
For me it's more of a culture over government likeness.
Since I hated all the factions I started looking at culture and then it turns out I hated all of them too besides the Gallente.
So therefore my primary character was to be Gallentean. |
