Advanced rep tool, basic nanite injector, and advanced uplinks/nanohives. Try the SMG or a toxin AR for the weapon and flux grenades for getting away. And make it highly tanked. For the most part, I play assault. But right when a grenade drops and my team is in need, I repair them and drop rep hives and chuck flux grenades to stall the enemies. |

The 3 main things logibros bring are nanohive, the needle, and either rep gun or scanner. As far as mods go, full complex shield extenders on high, and a bunch of ehanced armor plates with 1 or 2 armor reps depending on your logi proficiency and personal preference.
Personally I would give up rep gun for proto needle and adv scanner if I'm not running in a squad. An extra gun firing is better than a dedicated healer. Adv nanohive is a must, proto is a bit much, I never seen anyone take full advantage of it until it dies so it just seems like extra waste. All you get from proto is an extra placeable nanohive and slightly faster resupply. Both are unecessary unless you're setting up shop for a defense standoff. |

In all seriousness Gallente Logistics is probably the best Logi for equipment based support. While Logistics...is good pretty much for the hacking and the 4th EQU slot.
Good luck fitting all that on a minmatar though. I'm too used to Gallente power efficiency. |

The Min Logi is good...it is well rounded. You can tank it pretty well with slightly more HP going to armor than shields. Plus you have speed and the hacking speed bonus. The goal should be to get to the Advanced suit.
Focus on getting core skills up. Basic core upgrade, electronics and engineering...try and push them to level 3. Then focus on maxing out armor and shield core skills, armor plates and shield extenders. What you are trying to do is make the fitting as efficient as possible (you'll need the CPU/PG) and give your base HP as much of a boost as possible because Min Logi has the lowest total base HP of any other suit.
Equipment focus should be Nanohives, Injectors and Repair Tool. But you can work with just the basic levels to start. Trying to go Advanced equipment before you have your core skills up will just make you squishy...you need durability to keep your team alive because chances are no one is going to revive/repair you. If you want to run a scanner sometimes then just go with a basic one (it does the job) and drop the repair tool for that fitting.
Run extenders in the high slots highest you can get. Low slots on basic suit should be highest armor plate you can fit and basic armor repair module. This combined with the inherent armor repair bonus in the suit will help keep you alive longer. On the Advanced suit just add another armor plate. Highest armor I care to run is a complex and enhanced when you can fit it. Otherwise you give up too much mobility.
Weapons and grenades are personal preference. I like a Breach AR because it prevents me from messing with longer range threats and keeps me focused on supporting my team...but it gives nice punch in close quarters when you have no choice but to engage the enemy. Others find the SMG or Mass Driver to be decent support weapons. With only one weapon slot it is better to stay versatile. What ever you choose, don't waste SP going above advanced weaponry early on. Your focus should not be offensive capability.
Once you are at this point additional SP can be used to branch a little in other support skills but I would focus on getting all those core skills and defensive skills maxed first. Then get your equipment to advanced level. From there you should be able to figure it out. |

No and no. Shields are not the strong suit of Min Logi. Just buff them with extenders in all the highs. Plates and repair modules in the lows.

A lot of people still try to play this game as Twitch warfare 3: Run out into the open and tap dance
If that's the style of play go with the plates.
But if you're a tactical approach kind of person having full health after taking cover for 5 seconds is a major game changer (It's better than having 900 hp).
To be honest the Energizer is not worth it to me and is in the same place as the Reactive plates but since Shields are still as good as they are by themselves no one has really noticed it.
Having two complex regulators and an Enhanced Rechargers does wonders if you have the CPU and PG not to skimp out on your suit fittings.

tl;dr I like Rechargers and Regulators.

(The above poster is right though, while the Assault Min is better for shields, the Min Logi is better for armor) |

If you are running proto then it becomes more balanced between the two. I ran extenders with, recharger and regenerator early on but found no real benefit. I switched to straight HP (extenders & plates) and never looked back. I found the armor repair module way more helpful.
  My proto fit is
3 Complex Extenders 1 Enhanced Extender 1 Complex Armor Plate 1 Enhanced Armor Plate 2 Basic Armor Repair or 1 Enhanced Armor Repair 1 Basic Kinetic Catalyzer

Why no repair tool? I only run a repair tool if I have an injector. After the scanner update, I now run scanners on ALL of my fits (the tactical advantage outweighs every other equipment), and I find that a repair nanohive is better than sacrificing one low slot for an armor repairer. Not only are they good for healing yourself, but healing groups of players.
The repair tool (after its overlooked nerf) isn't as useful anymore and really only works for players sticking close to their group, or with a heavy. You can either replace the uplink or the nanohive (if you have a weapon that doesn't eat up ammo like the scrambler), for the repair tool in those fits. |
