Any idea how Racial RDVs are going to be decided? Is it simply going to be correlating Gallente RDVs with the Gallente MCC and vice versa or is there going to be a larger scheme of things? |

I do not know. This is probably something Game Design and Art will decide. I have not heard anything personally on the topic. |

I'm sorry but I don't understand your excuse for why the asset isn't being used when we all know it's done. Just tie the gallente RDV that your team has allready polished to completion, and have it drop in gallente assets. |

A "guess" is the same reason we can't put in small turrets. Which is an animation tech budget limit. But that is just a guess on my part. This isn't my area. It's not level design so I can't really speak on it at all. |

Just a suggestion that maybe you can toss over to the game design guys, but how about the RDVs become an asset the individual players buy from the market and in our vehicle fitting screen there is an extra slot for which RDV we want to deploy that vehicle. Different RDVs would have different delivery speeds and also would "supercharge" you vehicle with different effects for a brief period of time after it is deployed, similar to the idea of nanite injectors giving bonus effects upon revival.
Here's some examples,
Minmatar RDV: Fastest deploy speed, vehicle gains bonus speed for first 60 seconds of deployment, great for getting out of a location quickly.
Amarr RDV: Slowest deploy speed, vehicle gains bonus armor and shield hardening for first 60 seconds of deployment. You'd use this one if you want to drop you vehicle directly into a hot spot and start working on the enemies.
Gallente RDV: Medium deploy speed, vehicle gains bonus turret damage for first 60 seconds of deployment.
Caldari RDV: Medium deployment speed, vehicle gains bonus turret range for first 60 seconds of deployment. |

wait... the game used to have small turrets. and... oh that must of been why you removed the large turrets we got to sit inside. |

The game used to have small turrets. so do more drop suits add to to this animation tech budget limit, or it just the moving map objects like RDVs. I don't want to suggest adding stuff that literally can't work in the engine. Are we unable to get the minmatar and ammar MCCs due to the animation tech budget limit?
MCCs don't have any animations, as far as I know.
Small Turrets used to be in with this awesome turret shield that covered your entire body on the front - made them EXTRAORDINARILY awesome at point defense. |
