They won't nerf the AR. Mostly because they are afraid of 80% of the players leaving. |

Sorry but the nova knife damage you proposed is too much. The damage output in the current setup is just fine as it is. The few things that need fixing are hit detection and the ability to sprint with a charge. Besides, making the standard knives too powerful will just cause people to demand a nerf and I don't want to see that. I understand that you are the NK expert. I will change them. |

Nothing is worse than sneaking up on a guy and them moving, you missing your second strike, and having them kill you. Plus if they were camping they should be dead anyway. It would be inevitable because any weapon + headshots kills extremely fast if the opponent is camping. Plus if you do hit one guy, they can just backpeddle and not be touched by you... The ion pistol is what I'm worried about...but the Rail Rifle was exactly what I thought it would be like by what you put. The downside of the Ion Pistol would be its accuracy.
Ion Pistol does a lot of DPS, at the cost of range and accuracy
Flaylock gets splash at the cost of rounds per magazine and DPS
Scrambler Pistol Is a headshot beast at the cost of being mediocre
Bolt Pistol gets extra rounds per magazine and extra range at the cost of DPS

@RECON BY FIRE No, I'm not secretly a CCP Dev. What would you change? Also, you didn't have to quote that entire thing. |

RECON BY FIRE wrote:I would change literally all of it. Seriously, a STD shotgun should do 550 damage? Wtf are you smoking? Not all of that damage would apply unless all the pellets hit. A shotgun should kill anyone in 2-3 shots if every pellet hits, which would mean they are at point blank range. That's how shotguns work, very high alpha damage at close range. |

Owned a guy at I think 20-30m by headshotting him. And NO I didn't use the OP Tac Scrambler Pistol. I used the assault...it's just far too good for a sidearm. Only drawback is ammo capacity which can be fixed by upgrading that. What I'm getting here is 'lower pistol damage'. I can do that. I've looked at them again, and thought the same thing, I just needed to hear it from someone else. |
