More and More people are complaining
because more and more people are flocking to it
because more and more people are realizing that the weapon is OP.
When you have a very large portion of the playerbase flocking to a weapon even though it is not necessarily their first weapon of choice, and you begin to see that weapon more and more in every match, it indicates there is an imbalance with the weapon.
Reference Flaylock Pistols, Core Locus Grenades, Mass Drivers, 1.0 Tac AR for further study. |

I never complained about the Scr Rifles before. When people are using a weapon because they genuinely like the weapon there really is not a problem.
The problem arises when tryhard statwhores realize that a weapon outperforms other weapons in it's class and begins to flock to the weapon simply because it is overpowered. Then they all go tell their friends "hey guys this thing is beastly OP you should spec it up and we can all go on a rampage with it"
Seriously, literally overnight these things were everywhere. They didn't appear in various tiers here and there, there were instantly full Proto Scr Rifle squads running in nearly every match. This is a major red flag. |

Yes, it probably should. I only have a Gek with Op 3 and SS 3, no damage mods and I beast proto Heavies with it. |

Thats the point. Any one who cries about high damage or dying quick needs to stop playing this game and go play a disney game or something. The award for skilling solely into one weapon is absolute power! I am a md user and i have to say this. I believe the scr needs a little more power.
