When you hop out of the MCC to call in another Maddy (damn wiki swarms), and you see 3 guys standing in the redline with snipers shooting at the MCC and then going to team chat asking why, then receiving a response saying that they were killing the MCC........... |

Feel free to post your experiences! 2 tanks with all the gunner seats taken spend the whole match shooting at the enemy MCC while you are getting buttplugged by Duvolles at the objectives....
If it's a city, it's only half their fault..... oh wait you said shooting at a MCC. Nm..... |

Other games, you can play 2 out of the last 10 titles and catch the hang of it and be a pro. Come the 11th title, you're on the same page as the vets. You may have sucked and cut your teeth on BF2, but come BF4 you're a top performer. DUST however is on going. There won't be a DUST 2 to start fresh.
In DUST, all the pros got the privilege to learn the game and grind it with other noobs, they didn't have to worry about getting protostomped. Now, noobs come into the game and have to grind and learn against vets who will mop the floor with them. The vets have superior experience and superior equipment. Its no wonder nobody sticks around.
It comes down to really only one way to play this game. You have to be in a full protosquad and you have to be in a good funded corp in order to be successful at this game on a consistent basis. The game's top players all have the same play system in common. They may use different styles, or weapons, or techniques but they all roll the same way. They roll with the Protostomp System.
Maybe if Corporations should have the ability to enter the Academy and recruit. Or, once you graduate, you learn about corporations and get the chance to apply to a few.
Oh, also in spirit to the thread. You know you're in a game with noobs when, the guy on the losing team is a Logi with 4000WP, lol
Once PVE, and other non-combat things comes in, that won't be a problem. |
