Does the nova knife charge attack get a boost from myofibril? does it count as melee?
What about if you put a the knives in the light slot and equip a light damage mod?

If you mele while holding nova knives it does not do any bonus damage just because you are holding nova knife.
myofibril does not increase nova knife damage
Even if in the light slot it is still a side arm weapon and would thus only benefit from sidearm damage modifiers. |

Nope nova knifes do not benefit in any way from microfill implants, BUT, don't worry you can still destroy People with ADV/PROTO knives. though i hope you spected into Minmatar scouts because that's the only way you can do some serious damage. My knives uncharged to 300 DMG if both hit and charged 600. Minmatar scouts because every time you lvl that up you get 5% more DMG and lose 5% dropsuit scan profile. Plus you run like a MF.
Random advise:
I would also suggest that you make the suits CHEAP like 7,000-12,000 ISK because you are the ultimate glass cannon my scout has like 200 total HP so prepare to die a lot. that said they are the most rewarding weapons to skill into.
Watch the hell out for HMGs don't get near the front of a heavy that spread WILL wreck you, instead find cover and play a game of ring a round the cover to get behind them then charge the knives and kill them. use this strat for about any opponent except other scouts.
Whenever you can try and flank opponents this is the easiest way to get close to one or more red dots.
IDK why I made this so extensive its just nice to see more nova knifers around. |

If we get i respec i would spec into... proto minmatar scout, proto AR, and proto nova knives..... just kind worried about NK range.... haha it has none  |

Range never stopped me from running into the open and getting 3 knife kills AND getting away alive! Good times lol
