People like to say if tanks required multiple people to kill (3 for example) multiple tanks would require an entire team to take down, i.e. 4 tanks takes 12 people to kill. This is incorrect. If it took 3 people to kill a tank 4 tanks would still only require 3 people to kill, it would just take longer. Furthermore it is commonly forgotten that it only takes 1 rail tank to kill another tank or at the very least hold it at bay. |

Could I ask why this required its very own thread? I mean there are only like 5000 other tank vs AV threads that you could have posted this in instead of clogging up the forums with yet another vehicle balance thread. |

There's a big logical fallacy there, and its the assumption that people will keep calling more tanks in like they're militia dropsuits. 4-5 av players killing tanks will make any vehicle players seriously reconsider putting their expensive investments into battle. 4 tanks on the field doesn't require a full team of av, 4-6 people with av will destroy tanks, I'd know I've been on both ends of it (having my tanks destroyed and flying a full squad of av around tank hunting in a drop ship). |

Over 4 AVers and it's overkill, you will be killing most tanks on the alpha strike and a tank that does survive will have to flee or die to a second volley of whatever you brought. |
