Hearing all this in depth information about EVE and the nuances involved, I wonder can that be equated to this game as far as deeply organized corporations within Dust?
As Dust grows its merger with EVE and vice versa, how does one CEO obtain information that is vital to his corporation when he has know knowledge of the big players in EVE? As I am learning in my quest to build my own all Caldari support corporation, I cannot overlook the importance of knowing about EVE lore and also the players who inhabit New Eden space.
I read a Dust blog, that you participated on, that involved the question possibility that Dust 514 players can amass a high volume member count for corporation and if they could operate properly in New Eden. I find that interesting because it seems to be a daunting task when you're looking up towards the mountain peak. Do you think Dust players could organize at that level?
It seems as though CCP is moving from the focus of PC and moving more towards FW or more feasible meta game attractions for the Dust player. PC seems like an afterthought almost at this point. When I first arrived in New Eden, the end game was PC. You trained and join corporations for it. Now mercenaries drives seem to have gone elsewhere. The game feels like it will outgrow PC shortly and more designated "roles" for corporations will be explored as they create new content that expands the planetside of things.
What are your thoughts?
Well FW has been needed attention for sometime here in Dust so I'm glad to see it. It like I said in cast that its a stepping stone to null sec for us in the release of FW and Market 2.0
Once I'm at my comp Ill take the time to address the rest of ur post. :)

Communication is your biggest friend. Players need a way to receive and have the ability to understand the message. Everything else follows.
Now for info I started out by just listening to EVE Podcast's to start to learn who plays in what parts of EVE and who their Friends and Enemy's are.
Other tools are using http://evemaps.dotlan.net/ and evewho.com
But also chatting with other players will help u a lot. I did lots of Skype calls back in the day. |
