After destroying an uplink I commonly lift my reticle up to see if it turns red (indicating that an invisible enemy is present).
This used to result in an easy +50 in 1.4.
However in 1.5 I just get a lot of hit detection sparks and an enemy that gets to line up headshots while enjoying invisibility AND invincibility.
Working as intended? |

I thought this was a feature? As far as I can tell you are always immune to damage for about 1-3 seconds after spawning. |

However problems arise when lag allows player to spawn on a popped uplink up to 3 seconds after it is destroyed and then have 1-3 seconds to be invisible AND immune to damage.
When sabotauging infrastructure, this gameplay mechanic means that destroyed equipment can kill me for the next six seconds if I dont babysit the area. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe when you're invisible you can't do damage either. And you're not really invisible... |

Invisibility ceases when you switch weapons or open fire...so technically you can't do damage when you are invisible unless you press a damage-causing button. =)
Yesterday I had an enemy spawn and run across my vision. I pumped 3 sg rounds into him at 5m as he turned, tracked me, and dropped me with an AR burst to the head. This was well after I popped the uplink from which he spawned.
To add insult to injury he was completely visible the whole time. |

In the spirit of using a scout suit to merely "scout", I spend a lot of time flanking and disrupting supply lines. As someone who cautiously watches enemy uplinks I experience this A LOT.
This problem is further exacerbated by the common absence of the spawn sound effect (addressed elsewhere). |

From the other side, I often get killed spawning in lag games because my screen is still black, but I can hear the gunfire around me. (off topic: Pseudo you are awesome with your grenade timing ) |
