I'm talking about the spawn on CRU and null cannon, not uplink. I still do not understand spawn time, sometime is 10 seconds, sometime 5 or 3 seconds. I know the spawn is faster if you wait while in bleed out statuts. Nobody seems to know anything about it in RTG, anybody know how it works? |

I thought it was based on the number of nearby enemy spawn points! I dunno, a dev answer would be nice!! |

Actually, when you see it at 5 seconds, it's counting down to 3 seconds. It's just that you didn't even look at the kill screen for that long and pressed O straight away. If you then wait, you can see it count down and rest at 3 seconds.

I also am getting that. I built an alt and worked my way through the turorial on it to see what had changed. 1) I got to the part where you join a fight. So I did and after 3-5 minutes of waiting I hear "TacNet shutdown MCC destroyed." I never even got a map or to pick my fit or drop in. Is that intentional? 2) This sometimes also happens on my main also where it chokes on 3 seconds at the start of the match and I see team mates running on the map and 5 to 8 seconds later I spawn. Do I get bumped in spawn priority due to skill points or warfare points or what? Based on thier spawn time It's not everyone. |

After reading this thread, I started thinking on this a bit. Now, please bear with me here. And if I'm wrong or being stupid, feel free to point it out.
I too have noticed that sometimes objectives and CRU's have a spawn time less than 10 seconds. I'm talking about the time that is on the unit BEFORE selecting a spawn point. I never paid much attention to this until now, but consider this:
What if the game is applying the spawn-time modifiers from all friendly Drop Uplinks to ALL possible friendly spawn points...CRU's and NULL cannons included? That is the only explanation I can come up with for this.
And if this is indeed the case, is this working as intended? |
