We should group up today Lea since we havent seen each other in a match yet, but i did group with Aero last week, hes a pretty awesome Scr user that even makes the Commando suit work (gotta get me one of those because of him), really love that stuff. Though that said i think it was Aero calling me a beast with it :p Since i havent faced you Lea, idd have to go with either Aero or Protocake, until i can get to revise it after seeing you at work with it. The imperial is powerful on its own. I go with 2x Damage mods and one shield extender, rest is all Armor with a complex repper even with shields down on this config you can still push forward, opposed to a 3 extender dual tanked suit it cant push trough an entire squad or beat 2 heavies back to back without overheating.

You gotta stop running solo my friend. We either need to squad up or fight Rei, its been much too long and the absence of contact between us is turning me into a scrub. Ive tried running in a squad, i ran in 13ears squad for 2 weeks or so to get ready for the squad cup and ive ran a few Rainbow Effect squads but theres too much skill present in a 6 man team that it gets boring really fast, theres just not enough people in the opposing 16 man squads, let alone the tactical advantage of having a scanner all match long. There has litterally not been a game when ive been grouped that i said of "well daym, this is a rush" except the Cup Match against Rainbow Effect", best game ever in Dust. But every other gun as the same problem there and aiming starts to lag behind as more and more explosive are being used to flush out the defenders... Ill add you tonight, we really should group up at least once on a weekend and lay down some waste on the enemy, ive played my entire Dust 514 career 99.9% of the time Solo and ive loved every minute of it it going up against multiple squads and breaking them apart. Ive grouped up only a couple of times and it resulted in not a whole lot of fun on my part, and it was definitely not a fun experience to be on the enemy team. Ive come across some really good SCR users the past year and people who "think" they are really good with it, the latter people are the ones who send fanmail after the match, the really good ones, i send them a mail personally on a match well done. And you are right, it nearly does not kill Armor fast enough, if i see allot of armor, i swap back & forth between my Scrambler & Side-Arm until they both run out of ammo, or i run out of opponents, it especially works well with an Assault SMG, strip their shields, swap to SMG, kill and repeat. The suit fit retired when DS3 users got the increased lock on from the aim assist and i replaced the armor plates with Ferro plates, standing your ground was less of option when every Joe & Bob locked onto you and i had to aim manually. My fun fit right now is a Caldari Scout with Templar SCR, extreme mobility and anyone walking from behind a corner, walks straight into a Charged Shot due to the increased sensors, i dont even use a cloak and ive adopted all the light weapons. There isn't a single gun between them that i cant use at the same proficiency as the SCR, except that all of them feel really easy to use... Winner of the EU Squad Cup "Go Go Power Rangers!" Heavies still mow down medium frames like nothing though, and although operating solely on the ground is possible, I found that my best PC games with the suits are ones where I am able to have tactical overwatch or the ability to use my environment to dictate my rules of engagement. The assault suit still doesn't "assault" well enough IMO The added low slot is a step in the right direction, at least for ak.0 users, but assaults still need a defined role I feel. I see you still run damage mods, ive not used a single one since they were nerfed, looks like a solid fit (until i started to break it down to purpose lvl), my lows look something like this 3x complex extender 1 x complex armor 2 x complex ferro 1 x reactive (various) Templar SCR I Use my mobility to throw of a heavies aim, then plug him with the SCR till the melting point, swap SMG, swap back to scr ussually cooks them before they breach my shields, just keep moving, heavies + aim is not their strong suit. Its really gotta be 2 heavies side by side to stop me in close quarters, then again my strong suit is close range shootouts. Ill run your fits next time i log on, but i rekon the double heavy plates kill your mobility that you need to get the heavy from unlocking you in close quarters and my setup has around 1k EHP, and your double reppers kill your survivebility by a couple of miles. I am not sure what the purpose of your setup is, its setup for hit & run, but you loose your mobility and it cant really take more punishment as a scout these days. But I have tried out that reactive plate suit and I like it but not as much as the suit I listed, I'm not sure why. My good friend Neodarc has a gal assault that is set up the same way and he says its his favorite set up. Though I have to try that quintuple rep suit, nearly 50 reps a second on armor is crazy, its like e Cal Scout's shield regen on steroids. But overall I'm enjoying my Amarr Assault again, it's been a long while since I've been able to run the suit as my generalist suit for every game from having to run scouts or heavies if I wanted to win the games. There are so much more Amarr Assaults around now, much more than before, it was a pleasant surprise to see an ak.0 on the field back then, it always meant a good fight that lasted upwards of 3 minutes at least going against another player skilled enough to main the Amarr Assault, now everyone and their mother is in one spamming shots and making cardboard cutouts of their enemies. Whatever though, more target practice for me I guess Also, I do have a PS4 and I think i've already preordered the game though i'm not reaaally pumped for the Halo shooter that is Destiny, PVE is amazingly fun but the PVP is too halo like. I really wanna see footage of you running the ScR now, pretty badly Check if you have an Archess somewhere in your list :p but i made a new psn for my PS4 :p so will need to re-add you there /hihi It was the first day i used the bolt action, had just unlocked it at lvl 20 ^^, since i bought the console just for Destiny might aswell practice a bit again with a twitch fps, 4 bullets kill from the standard assault rifle with 30 round clip, when i launched Dust up after playing BL, i got shot in the back, in BL the guy has to really be bad to not kill you then, but in Dust it was like...oh damn....something is shooting me in my back, i turn around, waste the guy and he was not even through my shields yet, but the weird thing is after 2 or 3 games you adjust to the pace again, then when you go back to BL, its like WTF is DISS lol and you get splattered really fast, until you re-adjust. I wish i had a capture card to use with the PS3, but sadly i do not have one, i would gladly upload one i would have around from my good old SCR days, though i am really glad the PS4 can do it without any framerate loss. Each and every fit i made with the AK.0, the calogi and the Galogi blew my fit out of the sky, even the Amarr Logi gave me the benefit of multiple equipment slots, back then when everyone had scaneritis, not having one really made every battle i went through a uphill battle especially since ive never really run in a squad or had support to back me up, except for Madlax but he ran pure assault stuff and at the start of a battle we each went our own way to minimize Redberry disruption. When i then got enough sp to put it in other stuff, i bought both the RR and the CR up to proto and hooboy this let me do all sorts of stuff to my suit, but still trying out the same fit in logi suits, still trumped my AK.0. The CR can be fired without the need for a backup plan, it just works all the time without any overhead and after fitting the SCR, the fitting requirements on it where to laugh at, while its damage output wasn't. My highest score ive ran solo sits at 87/3 using an Amarr Logi against a full team when it still had its rep bonus, using a Boundless CR and equiping a scanner, i was so disgusted by the powerup over my Amarr Assault suit that i never ran it again. And now the Amarr Assault is better then the Logistics version, i bet like you say, CCP is already shaking from Nerfitis Withdrawal and cannot wait to put the suit back on the chopping block. Though looking back at it, the Galogi in it's prime, equiped with a CR would still trump the now updated AK.0, purely because of the flexible equipment it could carry, though those suits ran rampant for more then half a year. I still remember my own quote from when i saw the Logistic suits stats and i was like "hooboy the Calogi is THE best assault suit before they came out, but i never specced into them because they will be nerfed in 2 weeks" ....i have no idea how anyone at CCP didnt see it coming when they where designing the stats. So with all the SCR threads going on about Turbo controllers etc, the Venom X also has a auto-fire setting, so after tweaking it for a good hour on my PS3 this morning, it feels really spot on as i went from derp-fest to an actual KBM feel with it, no double pixel aiming when only trying to move 0.1 pixels etc so all good and well. Then i put on the aim assist and put auto-fire at 20 rounds per second, while it did not reach those numbers the SCR put out 25 rounds before overheat kicked in O_O', the best i can manage is 8-9 rounds a second without loosing any accuracy, but not all the time and not in every situation. I ran a 40/3 that game and spawned in at around 55% finished. Normally if i can get 25/3 these days when i log on, i did really well. While in that game, i pretty much insta-gibbed anything i came across, heavy, logi, 2 people at the same time, Heavy and 2 people at the same time, it really did not matter much, one heavy went from 100% health to 0% in 1 single update of his healthbar the diffrence of 8-9 rounds a second or 12.5 is staggering, especially when used with 3 damage mods. The only thing why the forum is not flooded is because mostly scrubs are using it and they put allot of holes in the air surrounding the target. Also the odd thing i found out when it was on 20 rounds a second as opposed to 13 rounds a second, the SCR felt as if it was shooting ghost bullets, because the scr max RPM is 12.5 rounds a second, 20 or 13 should all be 13 maxed out, yet at 20 rounds a second, it definitely fired allot more rounds then what should be possible, yet only showed 25 rounds fired before overheating. They should fix this with a weapon jam or something, but most likely it will get the weapon nerfed beyond use. So on the following movies ill alternate between manually clicking with my Razor Naga Mouse and my Venom X mouse witch has Turbo set to max speed. While i played 1 round with the Turbo Controller everything died really easy, like in no effort on my part, when i play with the Naga Mouse, eveything dies slower. So after taking the movies, it seems i can manually click as fast as my turbo mouse, i can max out the ROF on my SCR with my fingers, i was not able to that when i last checked how many clicks i could get in a second and trying it with a clicking flash game over a 10 second period of time it drops to about 7 clicks a second on average, the initial click burst is fast but it dies out really quickly. This is with a Amarr Assault, all scrambler skills at V, at some point i do it scoped in and i loose 2 rounds just from zooming the gun in and having 1 finger in a used position, with the turbo you still get the same amount of round on target. So i guess for me, using the turbo controller only frees up more brain-time to line up better shots, i did notice that with the turbo on, the gun had allot more kick and i had to control the additional recoil, where when i clicked i was compensating for it unconsciously or it didn't have the kick. Needs more testing in an actual game. What i do know now is that if people mailed me back in the day about me using a Turbo controller, it looks like they are attached to my arms and are called hands :p i didnt exactly stop to see how "many" rounds i could get in every day and if i had improved my clicking skills. Also small test with a none caldari scout suit in the third movie. PS: when i am manually clicking, it you will notice the shots are not as smooth and stutter a little bit as when using the venom X, there just one smooth stream and the first time i showed my clicking i messed up by just concentrating on the camera instead of the clicks, second try i ignored the camera. So final verdict, all the people that claim that can only get out "6" shots on average per second need to have their fingers replaced, period because i have carpal tunnel on both hands and decreased manual dexterity due to numb hands that feel swollen if i play to much.
