Same reason the GalLogi is better than the assault. |

Pull out your sidearm while what GaLogi is still reloading and tell me that. And when I mean sidearm, I don't mean that toxin SMG with 0 SP invested.
You mean in the time you take down the 200 or so more armour it had in the first place thanks to its built in reps, extra low slot and higher PG/CPU?
I'm sure the amazing shield recharge bonus makes up for that though. |

Stop blaming another suit when you clearly have the DPS advantage. Hell, the TTK since 1.4 is so insanely short, the HP difference doesn't even matter anymore. Edit: If you fully tank out both suits, (while ignoring the GaLogi's equipment slots) the EHP difference between both suits is only 53 HP- which equates to what? 2 shots from a standard AR.
"Wah"? I'm the logi in this scenario.
You overlook the fact that in fully tanking both suits, the logi is left with far more capacity for weapons & other gear. Plus, if you turn to your sidarm on an AR because you're out of clip, you screwed up. A 1 on 1 battle should be over in 1clip.
HP differences don't matter anymore? With 1.4 that the biggest complaint with AA was that for many it turned the game into a battle of HP & DPS since gun-game mattered so much less. |

Why are you a logi complaining about logis? You sound like one of those people that thinks a sidearm is just a finishing weapon when they're really not. And no, HP difference doesn't matter that much anymore, it's about who shoots first in who's general direction. Everyone dies just about the same or within a fraction of a second of each other.
I'm not complaining about logis. I'm complaining about the Gallente assault. I wouldn't change a thing on the GalLogi. I was making the point that some suit bonuses are poorly thought out.
To the broader point of how gunplay goes, you're simply wrong. If what you said was true, the scouts wouldn't have suffered so severely in 1.4, quite the opposite in fact.
I agree the sidearm is not a finishing weapon. In fact, you were the one saying it was earlier, not me. |
