Soooo,,,,,,,,just watched the dust 514 portion of the Eve Vegas live stream and the changes that they at CCP are proposing sound "EPIC"!!!!!! So for those of you that have not heard warbarges will be changed to actual barges through EVE!!
What this means for dust is that if for instance in PC you want to move your clones you will have to put out a contract for an eve player to pilot the barge with your clones to the next area. This "as stated by the way" creates two possibilities.
If the contract is not secured by a pilot or one in your corp or alliance you will not be able to transfer those clones.
Along the way the warbarge can be attacked in eve like any other ship in eve while its being piloted, an if destroyed along the way said clones will be terminated. 
This sounds like some good interaction between the two games and will give rise to some fresh new tactics in pc with the availability of a grander battles. With all that being said I didn't here anything thing about using clones on board the barge if its attacked in eve.
It would be something if during transport an the barge is attacked that an option to spam inside the barge could take place an you go to battle stations  manning turrets an such. Getting to protect the ship an clones while firing on other eve pilots. Any ways what all do you think of the changes.
P.S. Manufacturing an resource allocation will apparently become very important with the changes as well.
P.P.S. Most dropsuit variants are apparently going to make an appearance in 1.7 - 1.8. Heavy's were stated to be farther along while they were still playing with scouts. FYI soon not soon tm.

OK, so looking forward to all of that but I doubt shipboard battles are going to happen. |

I mean we can already see them fighting above our heads in normal battles in the skybox! |

Thing is it would make sense to show such things if there was actual battle going on in the heavens above. However how many areas in Molden Heath would have such battles taking place on the eve side to warrant such images. Faction battles are a different story though. |
