BPO fits are really cool, YES you die a little more often, but it dont cost you anything, only K/D rate is afected, so if you dont care about that its the best way to play, You will earn a lot of ISK, and SP is ok to.
When you play in proto fits you often loose ISK. If you die more then 2-3 times in a battle.

As someone who currently has all of the BPOs in the game aside from the EvE Collector's Edition BPOs, I can safely say that aside from the MilBPO Droplink, all the MilBPO equipment sucks hardcore. The only BPO modules really worth using are the Mil Extender, Plate, and Repper. Maybe the drugs and hack mod too, but everything else is either too hefty or too ineffective. Of the BPO suits, only the Sever/Dren Logi and the Valor/Dren Scout are worth having. For BPO weapons, the AR and SMG are worthless, the Sniper Rifle and Dren Shottie are still quite useful, and don't even get me started on the Militia ScP. The Dren Swarm is a nice thing to have, but only if you have others supporting you, or a really good self-sustaining fit. I also don't have BPO Amarr suits or Amarr weapons, so I really want those EvE CE bits. |
