I've seen similar ideas posted but nothing quite the same. My idea is that a corporation can have its own little set of pre made fittings made from militia grade gear for a reduced price (some kind of percentage)
This is just a very rough idea and all feedback would be appreciated.

I don't see why not.
PIE Inc I know would get a reduced price if they bought directly from the Empire. |

Makes since seeing as how , when one starts they start playing for a corporation and it's all the same gear. This makes being a part of a corporation worth while and more understood. You get differences to go along with the differences of the corporations. This would also lead people to join other corporations more or less afterwards , instead of going solo so to speak. |

Good point, I think lots could be done on that basic foundation so I thought to keep it short and sweet I also had corp colors in mind If implied correctly adv and pro fitting maybe even be possibility, assuming a very limited amount of fitting(basic, advanced, and prototype) |

It'd be a great use for our blueprints. I know I'd love to be able to pump out a big pile of minmatar skinweave suits. having two equipment slots on a militia suit would be great for leveling up newbros.
so far +1 to this idea, I've been wanting a version of this for a while now. |

Wait a minute. Ya, corp fittings. Not ones to buy, but fittings designed by a corp officer that any member could choose to add to their list of fittings.
I could see this being a thing where we have our own list of fittings as we do now, and then a corp list of fittings that still pulls from our assets One that is not changeable, only restockable. This would be an easy way for corps to offers suggested fittings, and would also let people see what they should skill into in order to get into the corp suggested fitting. |

I there is going to be any "commander mode" there needs to be a way to control what equipment is used on the battle field. Otherwise it will be guess work, total improvisation and flaming comms.
Ex. commander would enforce proper fitts on team memebrs to suit her/his style of command or environment. And set it before battle starts for each squad.
It should be linked with corp armory. To ensure every team member is provided with gear. Cost deducted from battle income or at no cost. |

This would be awesome, I love flying fleet doctrine and find the idea of a corporation suit fitting to be a great idea. +1 for a corp fitter role as well, also the ability to upload a fitting from DustHQ...er do we have that yet? |

I like the idea, i know i suggested something similar. How ever make it so that when you spawn into battle you can CHOOSE to use the provided Corp fitting or you own. Unused fitts go back into the corp stock pile. |

A Faction fitting like that would be pretty cool addition to FW as well. |

I like this idea, also a little function that would tell new players which skills they would have to invest in in order to use the Corp Fits would help with planning skill progression.
Example: I want to run Assault, but the corp-approved fitting for assault is grayed out (I can't run it) Clicking on it tells me I need to invest in Shield Recharging to level 5 in order to run the fitting with all the modules in place. |

Debate time! I think a corp "suggested" fitting could have potentential to limit some players creativity and end up with "win of the day" fittings. on the other hand, it would be nice to give the new guys a push in a good dirrection. I must admit that I too wouldn't mind seeing corps become well known for using a particular fitting.
I myself would be very pleased to see the starter fits become corp fits. Or basic corp fits that don't require skills but do cost a reduced amount of isk. Maybe this could be accomplished by Eve players working directly with a corporation supply entire fittings with higher profit but with the penalty of lower demand?
If you want it show some love guys:) |
