A good sniper is helpful. Even if he doesn't kill a ton, as long as he tags enemies it's all good.
Helps the team if the enemy has to face them with only half their armor left instead of full HP.
To those complaining: Stop condemning an entire group of players based on the actions of their unskilled kind. |

I was just thinking of building an armor tank sniper that could sit on four or more proto triage hives. Who knows, you might draw an OB or two away the rest of your team. Munch P.S. If you get hit by OBs when you are sniping you are likely doing a great job.
It would be drawing a huge target on yourself and just daring somone to take you out, but it could provide a huge distraction to the enemy team which would let yours clean up.
It's the kind of thing that could be done just to tick people off. |
