As many of you know SVER True Blood, TeamPlayers, OH, Ancient Exiles, Pradox One & Many other groups, individuals, and alliances are at war. I am curious about the thoughts of those involved & those observing the war are thinking on this matter. |

Well the war against Sver is coming to a close they don't have much left.
I can say that the war against team players was a very long hard slog. But by far the best games I've ever played night after night.
What many may not know is every time A.E would try to get a district TP would attack us relentlessly yes we would win a few but they would just keep attacking. A very good strategy.
I can say playing against them we really honed our skills as a team. We were constantly adjusting to their tactics and they were doing the same to ours I can say the FC's on both sides were brilliant and lead to some of the tactics most teams are now using.
The epic battles coming down to a tick either way was the norm between our teams nailbiters to the end. Time after time a late game hack made all the difference. Sometimes it came down to who got the first hacks off.
I can say to those of you that are not actively per suing PC as your main corporation goals are really missing out what this game is building to!

True we maybe seeing more ringers & the like new alliances. However I wouldn't underestimate SVER & TP till it's over same to them not underestimating you guys which I think they may have a few times. Though I hope AE, PX1 & OH don't become bad after & start taking alot of places & become the new EoN. or something then we get to see the 4th Northern War or some massive war of sorts though so far it seems they aren't really going that way much from my perspective. |

I don't know if I would say that.... I'm just looking forwards to a different type of district stealing. Though I always keep up with PC matters while out in Devoid. |

What I think? Snooze fest. I think I speak for the lesser known mercenaries and corporations, we don't care about STB, TP, OH, and AE. It's the same ol folks just tossing their sack around each other. And it's been that way for months. There's nothing interesting about it because it matters not to other players besides those who in it or envy them.

How in the hell is it a northern war if it takes place in space? Is it only fought on the northern hemispheres of planets? There are no cardinal directions in space... |

That's how you got the Great Northen War EVE side and the Northern Coalition..... all those years ago. |

Well it may affect you, your corporation, & those you know in unexpected ways. As we draw nearer to PC possibly opening more to us we will see more Ringer related things & small corporations thinking about the larger one's. This war though itself has been a recent subject of interest to many it is rather interesting news to hear STB getting into a struggle with opposing big corporations & upcoming big/succesful corporations. Also how this war turns out will probably affect future Dust 514/EVE politics. |

thats my opinion on the matter. maybe when i get back into PC it would make more sense to be or bump my give a damn level up a few notches... |

I did True, was considering referancing him. GA did a excellent job writting it up, recording it & updating it. He put it in a great format style more explainatory of the situation & the progress then taking sides or a short summary. |

In an interesting twist after less than week Sver is now down to 2 districts from 25. However it looks like Neanderthal nation has taken the last few districts in a bid to salvage their districts by putting them into their alliance friends hands. |

I am actually fascinated by this war it's something new and different. It is not 2 different alliances fighting each other like the past major dust wars. Plus it is fun to take swing at a eve alliance

Hmm... that kinda makes sense. I would prefer Upper, Lower, Left, and Right, but cardinal directions work I guess. This would never work in a spherical cluster though, which make it a good thing New Eden is in a disk shape. |

Some beta no name player finally did something and become part of the picture or take a spot of someone who left the game.

Too bad I'll never see it.
Like Planetary Conquest is feasible for super small corps like mine.
And at this point in time, ANY new player (no not alts, alts are for people who are afraid of making decisions) wanting to make a Corporation will never have the manpower to field a full team against the larger Corporations.
Planetary Conquest is a great idea on paper. In practice though, not so much. |

I agree with you about the lag and stuff , but PX1 was attacked by Public Disorder after we took two High Damage Districts. After Public disorder attacked us we attacked them and so on. Px1 was not in any alliance when we first went to war against Public Disorder. |

Just wait until you can rent Districts from CONCORD in low sec one of these days, set up a corp HQ, work on building up that corps of yours as you PI the district to eke out a profit over those CONCORD taxes.
Then when you are ready, corp primed for war, head to a desolate low sec region and set up shop there, free of CONCORD. |

What will happen to all this we all probably wonder will AE, OH, PX1 & the other alliances, will they all break up & maybe turn on each-other for power or to protect themselves from the other or will they go on to be called the best alliance that ever happened to New Eden. Alot of possiblities AE already has 2 worlds I assume we all wonder if they will be the next thing people proclaim to worry over or will they be protectors of the people or something even greater. Will a large war eventually break due to something relating to all this. Will MHPD keep things neutral & correct. Who knows alot of possiblities but we'll see in time I suppose. |

Seems now MHPD has declared the war between SVER & Public Disorder against AE, OH & PX1 unjustifiable/a massacre so they have launched a new war campagin. Seems they are moving to restore something but it seems a followed up war relating to the 3rd Northern War was expected afterall. Well Round 2 is up I guess we all will be following that in some way |
