A: ignorant as to how cloaking is supposed to work.
B: assuming how it will work.
Please don't post things like that unless you're caught up on your info. |

Everyone saw cloak in the title and ignored the deployable shield bit......
Anyway, going on the assumption that cloaks are still ment to be equipment they need a decent timer, perhaps increased for scouts through a bonus, or even restricted to the class.
Std: 30 seconds
Adv: 60 seconds
Proto: 90 seconds
(Scout bonus: amount of time cloak is active is increased by x% )
Another way is to have them as a mod, where the faster you're moving the more visible you are.
*shrugs* just a few ideas. |

We have no information available to us to judge whether his post is false or not. For all we know he could be spot-on and scouts become the new FotM, or he couldn't be farther from the truth and should be beaten. I'm just saying that he is bringing up some points that should be taken into consideration (I should state that I'm all for cloaks, btw). I'm saying his information is false due to information gained from the devblog in which cloaking features are mentioned and statments from the devs such as:
Having a timer
Being equipment, making shooting while cloaked impossible
Being deactivated through damage, flux as well.
And other such things.
